I kind of get your logic, but I think it does get away from the fact that we support Villa cos...we like watching football? And specifically them, as our team of choice, play football? It would be nice if they allowed us some virtual way to do so.

Depends on a) whether we keep Grealish and b) if we do, where we intend to play Grealish. If he stays out on the left, then yes get rid of Jota and another, but personally i would be putting him centrally and buying two first choice wingers, with AEG and Trez as bench options.

Symbolically, as the only remaining 'dead-wood' at the club (although you could make an argument for one of the keepers) we should definitely get him out the door in the next week, even if by buying out his contract.

Those I anticipate will be added to the thread by the end of the month (or whenever the season loan window SLAMS shut): James Bree - Championship team Birkir Bjarnason - Overseas team Callum O'Hare - Championship team Rushian Hepburn-Murphy - Championship team Scott Hogan - Championship team For the other fringe players, I expect Kalinic to be sold, Nyland to be 3rd choice for the season and Tshibola to be released.
