Well, with Chuka going for circa 15m.... We now have a net spend of £18 million since the summer of 21/22. Not sure that screams a desire to kick on, i really hope we have 1 or 2 big signings in the pipeline.

look dude, Watkins works very very very hard, that makes him a good boy, he doesn't need anything else to his game, he's a good boy who works hard and runs a lot, a very good boy. Why would you want to replace a very good boy? We also didnt need to replace Trez, he worked hard, he was a very very good boy. Technique, control, vision, composure.....all overrated, anyone can have those things, not everyone can be a very good boy. We just need more good boys.

Gotta say tho, on paper, a front 3 of Dennis, Sarr & Joao Pedro.....in the Championship, gotta be one of the best front 3's to ever grace the Champ?, cheat code stuff. Akin to Buendia/Pukki, Grealish/Abraham etc (but 3 of them, rather than 2). -

seems strange, especially if he gets even less game time than Ings did compared to Watkins last season, would be better getting 40+ games in the champ, week in, week out. Or maybe it means we are going 2 up top. urgh. I suppose they could loan him out in jan if he doesnt get much game time.

well said Mr Del, El Ghazi needs to be challenging Couts for the LW/AM slot, they are quite similar in ability, after all, Couts has also only ever scored 10 or more goals in a PL season once. So......they are clearly players of the same quality due to this one, single stat. note: El Ghazi scored 10 or more in 1/3 seasons, Couts did it in 1/6 seasons, so i might even be willing to debate that El Ghazi is twice as good.

El Ghazi is world class mate. The issue is that our players couldn't spot El Ghazi's runs cus he was just on another level. (yes its a play on the Hogan joke - bite me).
