i can understand Sarr, IF we played 4231, with Sarr/Bailey wide and offering pace/guile on the break etc, with Couts or Buendia in the 10 role. But, Gerrard doesnt play like that, the transfer on paper seems good, but where is Sarr going to fit in the two available slots in the forward 3 when we already have couts, buendia, Bailey? Im not saying Sarr is a poor target, but it does seem a disjointed signing with how Gerrard plays (or doesnt play - as the tactics are non existant).

the problem is, would you really want to bring a new manager in for our next 3 game run?, we are likely picking up little or no points in the next 3 regardless of the manager (W.Ham, Arsenal, Man City), do we really want a new manager dealing with that run right off the bat and maybe getting off on the wrong foot with the fans?, we arent exactly the most patient bunch? I can almost see Gerrard lasting those 3 games, maybe even the next 2 after that (Leicester & Southampton), that then leads to a 2 week break, maybe the 2 week break from mid Sept (sept 17th to Oct 2nd) might be the time to do it if results dont improve?

yeah a great signing for 2m, he has really been a great servant, but that doesnt mean he is good enough right now to help us get to the next level, he really isnt.

this kid is quality, but when you have a one in midfield even the best cant do it all by themselves. we need Luiz, Sanson, or another hard midfielder next to him. Ramsey & McGinn cant play together, they leave Kamara exposed, but tbh, the formation and tactics leave Kamara exposed also, its a double whammy.
