    the only positive i can find, is if we go out and buy another top quality central defender, when Carlos is fit, we will then have our defensive pairing nailed on for next season. (im trying hard to find something positive to say......)

    Rucharlison was in the keepers view of the shot, we had a similar goal last season chalked off.

    i wont be popular, but i dont think JJ was that good yesterday, yes he did make some runs, but nothing came from them, and once again our midfield was non existent, with only kamara seeming to hold the fort on his own for chunks of the game. I really dont think JJ and McGinn are well suiterd to play togehter.

    thanks, i wonder of the percentage that return (which is high), return playing at the same level, ie: a bit like Wesley in terms of returing to play is one thing, but returning to play at the same level is another. I would guess they do. Anyway, really bad for us if it is 7-9 months out, he was going to be a key player for us, and i dont trust Konsa.

    remember what our first home game was like after 3 years away from the top table. they have been away 20+ years.....

    they are in the same position we were. Lots of on loan players, contracts expiring etc, they needed to buy. One thing though, even if they do go down, they will 100% have a team capable of coming straight back up.

    urm. Its mid August. There are 18 days left of the transfer window.

    tbf we have the budget version of Kamara already here in Luiz, but we dont play him. If we dont sign another midfielder, imo Luiz & Kamara should be in that midfield 3, or 2 in a double pivot, Luiz AND Kamara would offer much better control. Then the third slot can go to McGinn, Ramsey, Timmy etc. I do hope we sign another midfielder tho, although tbh, im starting to think our business is done.
