This is where Tuanzebe can come in though. I remember the boro game specifically away this season, when he brings it out from the back the rest of the team push up and we try play through the lines faster. Conor is not effective bringing the ball out, he doesn't and isn't suddenly going to start, gliding past people. In the opposition's half he is way more effective. I think we have to be that aggressive tomorrow. Get so on top that Mings and Tuanzebe are pushed up. Dangerous yes but let's go for it. Don't want regrets like last season.

I really do hope we come at them fast from the kick off . I think we'll be on point. Just a feeling but i think we'll be sharp.

You won't sleep mate. I feel it'll be one of those nights myself too. Even if you manage to get a couple you'll be fine tomorrow, adrenaline will get you through then you'll crash win or lose.

Actually enormously grateful for this format. If we were going by how most European leagues do it it would of been Leeds v Cardiff over 2 legs.

I remember when Newcastle were going through their phase of signing lots of French players a few years back. Debuchy was unknown to most in England really. Very good player he turned out to be.

I know it's different opposition and different personell but i was annoyed after the game last year, where let's call a spade a spade, Mitrovic was too clever , too physical and just dominated Chester and Terry . We need to take control at the back tomorrow. That's paramount. Tuanzebe is probably even a shade better at bringing the ball out than Ty, when he starts getting comfortable on it and bringing it out he really plays through the lines and gets us much further up the field as s collective. This is vital. We take control in our defence and we play the game on our terms.

Just another thing too and it's obviously completely biased but you look at guys like mount who is being continually touted as the next Lampard. Wilson - who'll play at a higher level. If they lose, will it hurt them ?. I mean they are probably done as derby players tomorrow evening regardless . Now yes, could also apply the same to us but Mings for instance looks totally invested in Villa.

Your bang on about the mentality. They go from a very disciplined, almost militant like way of life and approach to boxing to then arriving more often than not to Miami and just being consumed by this other world. Nobody telling them what to do. I remember the story of casamayor and garbey the outstanding light heavyweight who left the cuban training camp in Mexico in prep for Atlanta '96, in the middle of the night and got into America. Casamayor made it as a pro. Good career. Garbey not so much. American lifestyle consumed him.

Coming back to the Cubans, as good as they are in the amateur game, they definitely take advantage of the system. They are 30, 31, 32 - probably medalled at the previous Olympics and then fight kids from other countries who are 20 , 21, 22. So much of an advantage mentally and physically. You rarely see this in the pro game. Mayweather when he was 18 beating Hernandez for a world title. Doesn't happen much though.

Greatest amateur of all time ? Lomachenko obviously stands out. Felix Savon. 3 time Olympic gold medallist. I think if Savon had of defected after 92 he could of been in a great series of fights with Bowe, Lewis, Holyfield and Tyson. Loved his country more than the wealth though. I remember my grandfather telling me teofilo Stevenson would of beat Ali.

I actually think it's what we need to do to their CB'S in particular Keogh. I think the guy is a bluffer. Talks a great game and is vocal and a bit of a mouthpiece but has so many holes in his game. Need to go after guys like him and Cole.

I do agree with him about that it's wrong that the championship playoff final is Monday when you consider that both league one semi finals were played after our match. Also, the pitch. What will it be like after 2 games in 2 days.

Think he'll destroy him mate. He's a freak . He's making world class fighters quit. Yeah id be surprised if he takes him out in a round but his technique and punch power are just too much.

Fun fact - Inoue's total fight time over 2 fights in the tournament so far is 5 minutes 29 seconds. Could he win the whole tournament in under 8 minutes ? That would be insane. Could definitely see a scenario where he ends Donaire in a round.

I think we are gonna come at them at 100 miles an hour from the off. Smith will want us on the front foot from the off and taking control of the game. Tammy needs to work harder off the ball too. Semi finals - not good enough. That won't do.
