  1. Lack of opponents. Spence , Thurman, Porter, Danny Garcia - all with al haymon and fight on a different network. Haymon and Arum ( Crawford's promoter ) don't do business. Crawford is basically locked out at the minute. Arum has no other top welterweights for him to fight really. I've heard crawford-brook been bandied about. Not a bad fight.
  2. It's amazing really and quite a feat that Khan has achieved so much without ever really having the basics tied down such as not reaching and keeping his chin tucked in. For all his amateur success it's sad that he's never been taught a proper step jab where he slides with it, feet underneath him. One of many flaws he has that's never been ironed out. He throws punches from way too far out. His head always comes over his front foot and more often than not he gets clipped then. Crawford's ring IQ so much higher than Khan's. Just little things like understanding how to crouch on the inside and tucking the chin in. Great athlete Khan. Poor boxer.
  3. He'll probably stack the card with decent fights but the main event is not a PPV fight. Hearn's pursuit of global domination is making him take his eye off the ball in the market that made him. He's a hungry prick.
  4. Absolute cop out from Ortiz if true. 6 weeks is loads of time. I said a few days ago i thought Oscar Rivas should get it. He's now confirmed to fight dillian whyte. AJ must be getting a bit pissed off at Hearn now. Couldn't deliver him a promised stadium fight in April. Hasn't been able to get him Wilder. And now he has no opponent for his US debut .It probably will be Hunter. On a side note it's worrying how many PPV'S Hearn is putting on lately. Whyte-Ortiz is confirmed for SBoxoffice. Remember when absolute elite fighters used to headline PPV. The trouble now is the fighters purses are becoming astronomical. The licence fee from sky can't cover it like it would of for the fighters last night so ppv money needs to be generated to pay them. Hearn admitted on line that he is struggling to get a fight for Callum Smith right now . He made huge money from that tournament he was in so he is going to want to earn money like that again. So does he become a ppv fighter now ? Ultimately, the fans are screwed.
  5. Needs to fight a live body. Weird how he pulled out of the avanesyan fight after the weigh in last year. Needs to fight him to see where he's at. I'm never sold on Booth's fighters. He gets them all fighting the same rather than a more individualised approach. They load up a lot, every shot trying to take a guys head off and defence is leaky when they step up.
  6. https://youtu.be/FgsXjs0XuTU Fiery from Hearn.
  7. I think it will mess Leeds up more and they might not recover in time mentally if they lose out on 2nd. They were nervous yesterday and bottled it. Expectation on them is huge, from the fans, city and media.
  8. I think we'd need to win one of the last 3. Not many have got in with 72 points.
  9. This the one Hunter said he beat fury up in sparring ? Hate when fighters tell sparring stories.
  10. I think AJ would beat the crap out of Kownacki. The guy can punch but he's a take one to give one fighter. Would sell tickets though, Kownacki popular on the east coast with all the polish . AJ should of stayed at home and fought Whyte again.
  11. **** that. 15/15 ending at Wembley. Smash em all.
  12. We can only get 82. Sheff United already have that plus a better goal difference so...nah Edit..81
  13. I love the fact that Leeds will have to show bottle now against us and come at a side who wants to go at them too. They're full of it passing rings around preston and scoring eye catching goals but they couldn't put away 10 men at their own place when the pressure was on. Word of caution for ourselves, take Millwall seriously.
  14. Baggies winning. Meh. I'm not too fussed. They'll come to our place first, only difference really. With the form we are in we could give them a good hiding in the first leg.
  15. I'd like to see them give it to Oscar Rivas. Unbeaten. Can bang. Owns a credible win over Bryant Jennings. Sky seem to really be pushing for Michael Hunter ( even going so far as to say he lost a SD to Usyk. He lost by 7 rounds on all 3 cards ) Plus was at cruiserweight. He's barely a heavyweight. Shame on any HW though who is offered it and turns it down. 7 weeks notice is loads of time. Ya don't gotta make weight. It was a shit fight anyway. Miller is an obese, undisciplined joke. Crawford won't lose to Khan. If he does lose someday it won't be to somebody as fundamentally flawed as Khan. He does so many things wrong. A special fighter ( the ilk of Spence ) troubles Crawford. Not Khan.
  16. Can see Derby taking 6th when all is said and done.
  17. We need to be guaranteed of the playoffs first though. Easy with the run we are on to think we are invinceable. Football is a strange game at the best of games.
  18. Nah, put your best team out and get points quickly as we can. Deal with hypothetical situations if and when they arise.
  19. Might be on sky sports action maybe ? You'd imagine they'll sort it anyway.
  20. You do stop fights though when a fighter is getting punched heavily and not answering back. Utterly pointless giving him a standing 8 count, he was done. Don't think Hearn will be too put out, wasn't even a matchroom show. End of the road for crolla. Not the worst of them in fairness, humble likeable guy who'll go away quietly and has made a few quid which is good. He's more tolerable than bellew. What an absolute word removed he is.
  21. Johnnyp

    Keinan Davis

Tammy looks like he could do with a rest. Bolton already mentally done for the season, they're down. Next week id start Davis.
  22. I've said numerous times i think lansbury is a much better player an advanced role than Hourihane. People will counter with " yeah but he's not match fit " Well how does he get match fit without game time. Even try Ramsey. Conor just can't create. End of.
  23. Exactly. This fawning over jack has to stop. It's borderline juvenile at times. We've had 2 great chances and both great attempts too. Their keeper has done brilliantly. Fair dues.
  24. Would you say jack was the best performer on the pitch at the city ground ? No. Against Boro ? Played well but several others did also. Some here are gonna need counselling if he does move on in the summer. Fantastic talent but im a villa fan first and foremost.
