I don't think that transfer fees are that much of an issue for them but the wage structure is. Most of their players (including Alli/Kane) are only on between £50,000-£100,000 per week and they seem reluctant to break the £100,000 mark for anyone. Sure it's a lot of money for the average person, but if you are a player being offered 70k at spurs or 200k elsewhere it is an easy choice. Kane could move tomorrow and get £300,000 p/w at any other top side and despite clearly enjoying himself at spurs at some point the extra 10 million per year he could be getting elsewhere is going to get very tempting if spurs don't start winning things

sunderland fans should be out partying in the street, That clown going at least gives them a chance next year. Quite how they will manage to get rid of Everton oaps he bought is a mystery but at least they will not be buying any more now. Not really hard sci fi and not in the same league as the expanse but the 2 syfy shows that they run back to back on Fridays Killjoys & Dark Matter are entertaining enough if a bit cliched & cheesy at times. Both are due to start season 3 next month Killjoys is 10 eps per season & Dark matter 13 so easy enough to catch up on both in a week or so

This would mean a final play-off game to decide who finished 4th. In the head to head games Liverpool won both so this would seem like an easier way to decide things rather than an extra game but thems the rules

No sky money now though in scotland. Celtic will get 3 million for winning the league, Only 2nd/3rd/4th get more than 1.5mil. The whole of the SPL gets a split of 19 million for sky/bt showing 60 games. Impossible for anyone to even get close to Celtic when they get 11 million+ for simply getting to the group stages of the champions league. Wayne Rooney earns more in a month than 90% of the teams in scotland earn in a whole season

Sharapova has been given a wildcard to the Aegon classic at edgbaston next month. 3 years ago you could get tickets to this for £10 and were lucky to see 1 or 2 players ranked in the top 50. This year 8 of the current top 10 are playing & now sharapova too. Going to be packed there this year. Tuesday & Wednesday are usually the best days to see most action & the better players if you're thinking of taking a look.

evertons kit is truly shit

17 in 37 (including 2 in 2 cup games) again this year so far for a Palace side that have been crap for most of it. You can fault his work rate/positioning/decision making but he knows where the net is and still manages there or thereabouts a goal every other game for shit teams. Will be interesting to see what happens in the summer, Costa will be off from chelsea and seems they would like lukaku back but they were also rumoured to be interested in Benteke in Jan and i would imagine would be half the price of Lukaku and do pretty much the same job. Failing that if Lukaku does go to chelsea he could be a ready made replacement at Goodison Park, That would be fun.

The concentration required for racing at over 200mph continually for 200 laps is completely different than F1 with loads of slow corners though

Everything always looks a bit crap on striped shirts though, sponsors,numbers etc. No real alternative other than to have a big iron on style patch to make things stand out amongst multiple colours. Stoke always seem to manage to get a red background on their sponsor logo which hides it a bit but it still looks crap & isn't the exact same shade of red
