  1. If there was an end date to this then they can postpone easily enough but there is no end is there. I imagine games this weekend will be cancelled & more than likely everything else will be postponed/suspended until easter as an initial step to see how things develop. Any longer than that and teams will not have trained for 3/4 weeks, Add to that the fact that players/staff/fans could/will be getting it in another 2/3/4/6/8/10 weeks time so will have to isolate again and how do you arrange training & potential matches around that? The season is over & will be completely voided
  2. Boo hoo he let elphick go, pages & pages on here saying he was an absolutely shite donkey that should never kick a ball again, Bruce lets him go and he's suddenly better than Franco Baresi....
  3. MLS suspended for 30 days now too
  4. Did anyone have 15% of the population of planet earth as one of their choices this year...
  5. Chisora has lost 9 times in 13 years, We have lost 17 times in 5 months
  6. Or when they replaced some of smiths fancy dan can't defend players with people with a bit of grit like Jansson... Not like they are incredibly settled from last season either really, 8 new signings & some loans in, 4 sales & some contracts ending out yet they seem to be doing a pretty good job this season. Probably due to only conceding 33 goals this time around instead of the usual smith shitshow at the back. Look at our first season down there, they scored 75 goals that season and only won 2 more games than us due to conceding 65 (we only scored 47). Brighton scored 1 less goal than them & won 10 more games
  7. remember when people thought SARS & MERS were bad at the time? Crazy how this has spread so much compared to what were both very similar coronaviruses that barely managed to infect 10,000 between them
  8. Still one point off the total. Don't give up hope though, If we're really lucky we may have a slight chance of getting that one point to equal them from our remaining 10 games
  9. yeah because being stuck out on the wing in this shit side is so much better......
  10. Looks like E3 is cancelled, Imagine most will still stream something anyway as they will need some sort of press for new consoles/games. wouldn't be surprised if the consoles end up slipping into next year too.
  11. Just take the time off anyway & do what you can to have a nice relaxing time at home. The best holiday i have every single year is the week i book off for my birthday, Most years i don't end up actually doing anything other than catching up with some tv shows/movies/books & a bit of general tidying around the house but the 9/10 days off is by far the best part of any holiday
  12. Smith will be no more than an unemployed afterthought in 16 months
  13. If we keep him we will finish bottom and be lucky to end up with 30 points, no guarantee anyone else would change that but honestly i would rather have Warnock in charge for the last 10 games at this point
  14. Depends on the company/job really doesn't it, Can't really work from home if you work in retail/bars/restaurants/leisure can you
  15. No, Not a chance. He would be out of a job by November
  16. honestly have no idea what he actually does. We have no tactics at all, can barely pass a ball to someone in the same colour shirt & have seen better defending in the blind football in the paralympics
  17. Still some hope we may actually get the 1 more point required in the final 10 games to actually do a Fulham and finish on 26 points
  18. TBF he always seems to have it 15 mins before it's announced officially and always right
  19. Despite generally being a glass is empty type, F**k it, 2-1 win or maybe a 3-2 loss...
  20. Looks like Bellingham is on his way to Utd. Him & his family pictured leaving Carrington this afternoon
  21. Maximin has 3 goals & 4 assists in 21 appearances (2 & 2 in 18 league games) El Ghazi has 6 goals & 7 assists in 30 appearances (4 & 4 in 24 league games)
  22. Same mail journo that said bruce & maximin had a huge bust up now says maximin said he was not happy at being left out of the team but there was no bust up or row. In other words he completely made it up... https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8088427/Allan-Saint-Maximin-confirms-not-happy-left-Newcastle-team-weekend.html Allan Saint-Maximin has confirmed that he was 'not happy' after being left out of the Newcastle team against Burnley last weekend. Sportsmail revealed last week that the winger was upset that manager Steve Bruce had suggested afterwards he was not fit enough to start. Saint-Maximin, we are told, believed he was fit. We understand Bruce had told the squad he wanted 'warriors' against Burnley and, while there was no physical or verbal confrontation with Saint-Maximin, the Frenchman felt aggrieved at being 'dropped'. 'I feel good, my body feels good. I have been running a lot and trying to help my team,' he told the Shields Gazette. 'I stay on the bench against Burnley, and after, it's normal, when you don't play, you cannot be happy.
