    I agree, it shows just how far we've come that he's a bit part player and most people aren't arsed about. He's a really solid footballer that whilst a utility sort of player is of a good standard in one of the toughest leagues in the world. He would cruise it in France. I don't think he gets the respect he deserves.

    Torres (F) can play wide and through the middle if needed. Contributes goals and assists. I don't understand the people against signing him. As for Rodrigo, Emery is big on character and attitude. I can't see him bringing someone in who could potentially disrupt our strong team spirit and togetherness.

    He's proved himself in both loans and needs to stick around for rotation this coming season. He's earned his chance. With 2 domestic cups, Europe on top of the league games, he'll get plenty of minutes. If we are to loan out a forward, loan Duran until January and see how he does in comparison to Archer.

    It could be that there's a lot more of the game played on the ground over there? I'm sure he could be coached to win more headers and Mings could help him along with that.

    Naseef hasn't head-hunted Emery to try and pick up a Carling Cup and potter in mid-table. It's not just getting a boner for transfer links to players and some that would command big money. It's more that's where the club is now evolving too after solidifying our place in the league. The statement from Naseef in regards to Monchi suggests we're trying to push more and more now. Some may get a bit too carried away but we really do seem to be going for it.

    Something is tielling me that if Emery can get him going again, he'll be a good signing. A lot of us were giving up on McGinn and thought he'd hit his ceiling with Gerrard in charge (myself included) and now he's playing the best football of his career.
