    We've been hit too. Wife had it for a week, I felt pretty bad on Tuesday night and Wednesday. Feeling generally better today. LFT is negative, but pretty sure it's covid given my wife is positive. Have a postal PCR to do tomorrow now that the test centres are all closing. Everyone I know is getting it.

    Took three months plus to get our Kona electric, and even then we had to drop down a spec to get one. The whole situation is ridiculous really.

    Absolutely brilliant tonight. Raised the game of those around him, worked well with Bellingham, managed to continually rectify Sterling's bad decisions and allow him to be actually effective. Plus he made it interesting to watch. Now he's gone off its back to ultimate dullness.

    We've reverted to standard Southgateball it seems.

    I like the look of England like this. I remember the odd occasion we'd set up similar to this in the run up to the Euros and we looked like we could really be something special. And then Southgate decided that no, it wasn't right, we had to play loads of defensive midfielders and Harry Kane. Bellingham and Grealish really seem to balance the team out well. I know it's a friendly against 10 men but... Please Gareth can we look into iterating on this setup in future?

    Think I read somewhere he was even considering starting from the pit lane. Not sure what advantages that gives with the modern rules but presumably some extra setup tinkering or tyre changes or something.

    Currently reading the Pratchett/Baxter Long Earth series. Very very cleverly though through, lots of interesting and insightful science and social concepts in the books. I can't really detect a lot of Pratchett in there other than the odd slightly jarring jokey turn of phrase occasionally. But the pragmatic tone kind of suits the series really. And of course Pratchett isn't entirely defined by Discworld.

    I hate Southgate's management. Just hate it. We should be favourites or close to in any tournament at the moment and yet we just always look dreadful.
