  1. I despise Sinclair and even I have to admit N'Zogbia has been a worse signing. Almost certainly the worst in the entire history of the club at this point.
  2. 'Our level' would be fractionally better though. You can't tell me he wouldn't be an improvement on Scott 'Not A Man But A Worm' Sinclair.
  3. This squad has now lost what, a dozen games in a row? You think it's all going to get better because the punishment will stop happening each week, but it's not going to. Our players have a losing mentality beaten into them, they're not suddenly going to turn into world-beaters while they're on the piss in Magaluf in July. I don't for one minute believe that we're going to get bought either. Anyway, taking this back on topic, Newcastle being relegated would be funny no matter what, but they've got a cast-iron three points next weekend.
  4. For Newcastle to be a 'threat', we'd have to be competing at the top of the Championship. I guarantee we won't be anywhere near promotion.
  5. Because Eric Black is an absolute moron.
  6. He's a much better player than everyone in our squad bar none. He'd have improved the overall quality no matter what.
  7. Didn't watch the game, but apparently he played pretty well, so fair play to him (if true).
  8. I didn't get angry, I just laughed when I saw the ticker. Of course Black wouldn't be able to prevent a defeat, he's an absolute idiot. That substitution was (much) worse than Sherwood's 'Ayew at Leicester' moment, because a] we weren't down to 10 men at Leicester, b] we were two goals ahead at the time, and c] Jordan Ayew isn't a miserable, feckless worm who never impacts a football game.
  9. To be fair the last Olympics was on home soil. Everyone does better at their home Olympics. Let's see how we get on this year.
  10. I'm not going to watch a single minute until Eric Black is no longer employed by the club. Even as an assistant. Just **** off already.
  11. As I said before, I want him to be fired out of Villa Park over the Trinity Road stand from a claret and blue cannon at the final whistle of the Newcastle game. It's only fair for the club to give us at least one thing to cheer before the end of the season.
  12. You've got to love it haven't you. 5 at the back when you're already relegated. What an absolute twunt that Black is.
  13. No need to be patronising, and I don't think it's easily dismissed as a 'silly little conspiracy' anyway.
  14. Surely it's not much worse than League One level? Maybe League Two level. I don't know, I'm guessing. But there's some players who were once alright in Australia.
  15. 'Tin hat on' This is why comic book movies hold no appeal for me personally. (Not saying they shouldn't be made or anything like that!) Imagine having to watch three movies you don't want to watch in order to watch one you do.
  16. You can consider me somebody who's not persuaded that it's a coincidence we keep hearing about takeover rumours at exactly the same point each season. You can say I'm victim to a 'conspiracy theory' if you want, and maybe I am, but for me once is a coincidence, twice is dumb luck but thrice is starting to look like a pattern. It would be easy to say, 'well the end of the season is just when clubs hear about takeover rumours'. Which would be fair if Palace, Everton and Swansea hadn't all had ownership issues come out in the media during the season.
  17. I think 'they' don't exist, to be perfectly honest.
  18. No, I agree with you. It's mostly the same dozen or so faces over and over again.
  19. In some cases, but there's a pretty much 1:1 correlation between 'Blairites' and 'Labour MPs who are undermining Corbyn in interviews to national media'. There are plenty of others (many in what we might call the 'E Miliband wing') who might not totally approve of Corbyn but are just getting on with it.
  20. I know literally nothing about this, why don't you like him out of interest?
  21. Labour appear to have closed the gap substantially in national polling in recent weeks, but it probably won't help much next week. Young people always go missing for council elections, even more than general elections. I expect Labour to win the Mayoralty and do very well in London, and lose 90% of everything else. It'll be a bad bad night for them IMO.
