It is negotiable, and it should be changed in my opinion. I would go mainly claret with blue accents, similar to what Luke did.

So as I remember Ferguson was called to be sacked early days, yet they still won more? Liverpool should have more trophies. That does not take away the fact they have been a top team. They should have just won more. I really think Klopp isn't as good as people think he is - I know some think about Pep that way. That doesn't mean he isn't veeerery good. He is elite. Liverpool are just not as good as the biggest greats in my opinion. If Pep run Liverpool, I'd hazard a guess they'd be more successful.

What I don't understand is the CL argument for not building the North Stand. Firstly, it is not guaranteed. We don't know if we'll be playing CL next season. Second, even if we are, isn't our aim to play CL 3-4 seasons from now too? Wouldn't it be better to have the stand sooner as in 3-4 years we will have the same dilemma? The only reason I see for not doing it now is that should the owners spunk £100m+ they might not be so inclined to spend it on players in the summer. That is a valid argument, but while it's not my money, I would rather do it now then be in exactly the same position 3-4 years down the line.

On a serious note, how expensive can they be? Let's say it's a couple of grand (I doubt it - theatre productions work on smaller budgets). Surely it's not much for a football club? My son always looks out for the lions, he loves them. Especially as they are painted on the concourses so the club 'advertise' something that isn't there. Get him back.

They don't need to go on a 10 game unbeaten run. They win their game in hand and are only 2 points behind Liverpool. City will win it, I am confident of it.

If we keep this form up for the next few years, we will be one of the top European teams. It would mean we have already achieved the heights of top teams like man city and liverpool. It seems almost crazy. We will either keep it up and have already overtaken Man United's and Tottenham's of this world, OR we will drop considerably from our previous results. Can we really see an Emery collapse to say 1.7ppg going forward?

It would be acceptable to me if the new stadium brought more fans and kept the VP spirit. One day we all move out from our family home. If the new house is better, why not? New memories will come in order for the house to become a home.

It's an assumption he hasn't got any football knowledge. The Red Bull thing happened 10 years ago. 10 years ago, Jacob Ramsey was a shit footballer. People learn and I don't even mind him not coming strictly from a football background. Again, his job is to bring money, something he seems to know a fair bit about. And "pissing off the fan base" is veeery subjective. Personally, I'm not pissed off. Yet. For me it takes a bit more to get pissed off. I am going to give him some time to make an informed decision - maybe the new stand wasn't the best way forward? No one knows the ins and outs. I'd like a new stand as much as my 4 year old wants a new toy. But the parents know the financials behind it, and maybe want to save up to get him a better toy. Terrace view happend in the holte because that was the best place for it with our current stadium situation. And that revenue could get us a new Douglas Luiz extension. It's a price I'm willing to pay.

I think he has a basic understanding of the football industry. I'll even suggest he has a far greater knowledge of the industry than anyone on this forum. But that's not the point. His job is to up the revenue, so that football people like Monchi have the funds to build a competitive team. If you are worried about Villa becoming a corporate experience for the wealthy, I have some bad news. £25 tickets and £3 pints time is long over. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

I understand that point of view and I agree. I'd put Liverpool as top contenders now, Man City close 2nd. But, if you get just a little optimistic, we are still 1 game away from going joint top. So we are in it. If this is our run of poor form, we will likely bounce back and get back to winning streaks. I highly doubt we will go below 2ppg. At the same time, we are also 1 game away from going 5th. It looks like an exciting season with all top sides losing odd games, so with a little luck we are very much in it. Especially as we have Liverpool and Spurs at home. Title is in conversation, and not getting CL football would be disappointing at this stage for a slight optimist that I am.

It seems like they aren't great owners. But on the financial front, they always back their managers. There are far worse people owning football clubs. If glazers run Crystal Palace it wouldn't even be a talking point.

They have to have something up their sleeves over the next few years. There is no way some form of expansion won't happen. Maybe some sort of filling in the corners, once that's done a rebuild of the NS, god knows. But 10 years from now VP has to be bigger and modernised.

I have a feeling that while the North Stand is not knocked down right now, we might have considered something of greater significance, i.e. massively renovation of Witton Lane with a bigger stand that will join a new North Stand. That's the dream. If they do nothing for the next few years I will be angry, the stadium needs to be bigger. But maybe Heck wants something better than just a new stand?
