    I'm sorry, but Werner has been laughed out of the country while at Chelsea, it's the first big transfer for Dragusin, Gallagher won't happen yet until summer. Nothing to be worried about on the transfer front in my opinion. They are a good team, but this window won't change much.

    I would say no - and one of the reasons being Castore deal runs till sometime mid summer? Surely it doesn't end with last game of season. While we might not get a "quick" release, we will definitely get early leaks. Adidas is too big to keep it all secret.

    What we must remember (and apparently this has hit Newcastle rather badly) the players will have CL clauses in their contracts. I would be surprised if players like Chambers or Olsen all of a sudden had a 30% salary bump if we did get CL. It is therefore important to make sure our squad is well structured in the summer. We don't want a situation like Newcastle paying crazy money to Matty Targett.

    Thing is, that is not the "old" badge. It's a 2017 badge. That's recent. I think the "J" really works. It simplifies everything that the Juventus badge is about. I would like for Villa to do something similar. But we haven't got stripes. Some sort of design genius could make "AV" in a similar style. I'd like to see it. We could leave the lion just like Juve left the stallion. To me, not a single element (other than colours) is a necessary element of the club badge. But I appreciate English football fans aren't very open to change.

    What I hope is not happening (Surely not?!) is a slight nod towards the blue-ish element of the club's marketing. Very recently, a certain Manchester team seems to be pushing a claret and sky blue look. It seems to be a very marketable palate in world football, of which they are on top of. Maybe the brains on the Heck marketing team team want to reflect these colours more in the Villa look?

    Sure it's a bad thing. Just let the men in expensive suits and important jobs discuss how bad of a thing it actually is. You know, what sort of label we shall give it as the 'democratic, law abiding western state'.

    I would question if he is the best keeper in his country, he is most definitely not the best in his league, and he surely isn't the best in the world.

    Wait, didn't they sign a striker who was a part of the Man City dominance? They could sign Mbappe and Bellingham tomorrow and it won't change much. The problem with them is a bit more deep rooted, it's a certain flair and lack of 'ballsy' players for a lack of a better word. It just feels like a really good u-21 team. They play lovely, but don't have a Roy Keane to really get them over the line. Funnily enough, they had that with Xhaka. I was lucky enough to call it a few games into the season - Arsenal will finish 4th if they finish in CL at all.

    I know it's one of those things where everybody has an opinion, but how anyone can vote for anyone other than plop is beyond me. Man City is artificial - they are a coventry that won the euro millions. You won't meet their fans, you won't see their team struggle, it's just a made up club. How can you dislike something that is so "fake" it bears no resemblance on a real club? Also, let them win another 10 PLs and CLs. It means nothing - they cheated, so no one takes it seriously. Liverpool on the other hand are bad from top to bottom. From arrogant manager to players that speak of equality and go to play in Saudi. From victimised fans to referees always being "against them". From easy CL draws (they always get Porto) to spending crazy money yet never being compared to the big spenders. And I never heard anything as depressing as you'll never walk alone.

    For those complaining about a round badge looking too much like Chelsea, if you want a shield, why do you want the badge to look like Middlesbrough?

    It is negotiable, and it should be changed in my opinion. I would go mainly claret with blue accents, similar to what Luke did.
