Not that impressed by Fulham tbh - thought they were cynical and pretty scummy overall. Ref did them huge favours not booking Kamara and McDonald in the first half for blatant yellow card incidents, plus that Kamara dive LOL. I hoped Derby managed to come back into it because, whilst not as good as Fulham, at least they weren't complete clearings in the woods. Oh, and Ryan Sessegnon. Has any youngster ever been so overhyped?

The same reason you want to be up is the reason why the league is as it is. If the vast finances of simply existing in the Premier League weren't a thing, clubs would be more aggressive/attacking IMO.

He really isn't far off the "if", I think that's the thing. He's apparently being coached to play at "80% speed" so he isn't just running down the wing and doing nothing - it shows with his stats this season, too, that he's improving. Against us, where he was doubled up on and pushed out the game really, he was basically a couple of seconds off causing us huge problems. If he starts to see those passes into space that players leave behind to double/triple up on him, he'll be ridiculously good. (I noted he's taking their corners too, so obviously working on that delivery).

Did they really create that much, though? A couple of Derby mates that went to the game said the match was all Fulham, but they basically did nothing with the ball. (One of them also expressed surprise that the game wasn't a sellout, but said that the atmosphere was amazing... particularly strange given that they were were cheering Fulham losing possession etc )

I’d pick Jedinak over Whelan in every single game ever. Not even close. The organisation today was superb, but we didn’t get out enough (and Bruce said as much at the end). I can’t imagine it will be the same at home.

I can’t see that anywhere in your post, so no? But even if it was there, you’ve jumped to conclusions that an allegation of bullying would relate to hard training or military-sequence regimes. Why? I mean, that isn’t bullying.

Always likely to be the case. I often wonder moreso about people who suggest certain European-based managers/players in the speculation threads. Whilst leagues may well be followed, how much is about how they play and not just the statistics being impressive? Discussion is good though

Kind of contradicting yourself here - presumably you never watch them play (hence the first post) but then, having never watched them play, you "bet Brentford have far more games where the play shite football than we do"? Based on what? Their position in the table? I happen to think they play (generally, results and quality differences not withstanding) far more enjoyable football than we do. But, then again, the games I've seen them in are much more open so are more enjoyable to watch as a neutral. If I was a fan of Brentford, maybe I wouldn't want such an impetus on pace and attacking movement.
