5 goals and 5 assists? Talk about raising the expectations. He's more likely to chip in with 5 sub appearances and 5 hamstring injuries. It's like when people were saying Holt would be good if he could manage 4 or 5 goals lol 5 goals and 5 assist isn't outside the realms of possibility. The main point was the young players learning from him as well.

So basically if he can manage better than most of team did last season he will be a good signing. Obviously.

If he can chip in with 5 goals, 5 assists and players like Grealish can learn from him I would say its a good move. He was one of the most naturally gifted players so passing on anything to the youngsters will be a great experience to them.

Just seen the spain 30 man provisonal squad. Really puts into perspective how bad ours is. Whichever 7 don't make their squad would walk into ours.

Sorry if this seems incredibly naive but what financial benefits are there to owning a football club? All they seem to do is haemorrhage money. Im sure there must be a reason rather than a hobby?

Group of lads aged 20-27 drinking on a coach. Hardly a shocking image. Finished a long season, may not have a been an adequate season but I dont think we can begrudge them having a drink.

How about bringing back the reserve league. With same criteria they want for the B teams. Winner of the reserve league gets put in the FA cup 3rd round and League Cup 2nd Round? -

I agree. I wouldn't want to see Villa Park redeveloped into 'a bowl' though. There are not enough old school stadium with four seperate stands. I appreciate you can add another 5-10 thousand, if they were filled in but I just don't like them.

Don't they want to keep him though? He wants to leave to play more football. My only concern with Richards is that he always seems to get a lengthy injury. We've had them to Vlaar and Okore in recent seasons and I wouldn't want to buy a player who potentially will be out. I think he is a great player when fit though.

Ian Taylor. I don't know if he has coaching badges, wants to manage or would be any good, but a fans favourite who loves the club.

If it were true, I imagine it would be a diamond which would be great. Those 3 up top with delph behind is much better than current. Having said that I just dont see either happening.
