Yep. The rules are a starting point and need to be adapted by the refs using common sense. You seem to be confusing rules with guidelines.

I'm not sure what the rule is within uefa competition but in the premier league the rule is "when the ball hits the hand in a deliberate motion to change direction of the ball" I thought that was what gets a yellow card... Oh well.

VS Agboblahor, Cahill (our only top class graduate), Craig Gardner, Moore Brothers, Albrighton, Bannan, Weimann, Carruthers, Clarke. It's a bit of a myth is our academy, we do produce players who go on to have premier league careers no doubt, but very few that would actually be seen as a good signing if they were to come from another club. Although I, like most others expect big things from Grealish.
