  1. Yeah it's brilliant! kitten mittens is my favourite scene from the whole series What Channel is this on?
  2. I got it, not a bad game. didnt realise they took it down
  3. Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. It's why I don't believe in a God. Your missing out legov. You can get a good 45 minutes to yourself with a good bottom emptying session. Just you, a good book, magazine, internet on smartphone etc..... no distractions. Good thinking time as well. You know you've had a good shite when you've been in there long enough to get pins and needles in your legs. I can't believe anyone would spend that long on the toilet. Nor me. 2 mins to drop the log, 3 mins to wipe properly. 5 minutes and done Even that is a long time, feel it dropping, get it out, wipe and move on feeling fresh and empty for the day ahead.
  4. We have 2 goldfish who I am quite keen on, Jenny and Lucy. Our daughter named them (although she doesn't know that the 1st version of Jenny died after 3 months). Sorry no pics they don't they still long enough
  5. Think its the 27th of March on Sky Atlantic. I also cannot wait, love it.
  6. This, and even if you do insist on going dont pay for the fortune for the bar crawls you can just tag on to the end and even if you miss out on the free shot of sticky syrup you can still check out the girls. Some of the trips might be ok but choose carefully and don't bother with too many as over priced
  7. Have to agree with the rev on this one. I have been on 2, the first one when I was 21 (in malia....ok but seen better places) and had a ball, filth everywhere (literally Malia wasn't the cleanest place). The second one (Kavos.............do not go there) we were 26 and it was boring as hell, we hadn't changed but it was just full of little kids that annoyed the **** out of us and the girls didn't even look at us as they were also little kids
  8. I pretty much always have a bottle of wine on a friday night while catching up with sky+, its my me time. Apart from that I cannot usually be bothered to drink at home. I have lagers that have been in the fridge for 6mths
  9. Oooo got another one I was in the same year and friends with Glen Livingstone who was a reserve and youth team goalkeeper for the mighty aston villa. He also played for England U18's and youth. I remember standing in a radio rentals in torquay watching him on the telly playing for england (not the whole game I hasten to add, that would be really wierd)
  10. My dad was friends with John Le Mesurier and Hattie Jacques in the 60's when he ran a bowling alley in London (My dad ran the bowling alley not John and Hattie)
  11. I was going to say this. Why not invest in some nice new big signs for people to follow
  12. That was my thought, it is a pretty uninspiring list.
  13. Mad Men is just so good, cannot wait for the new series in March. Also just watching Pan Am, which even though based on the airline is very much like mad men, worth a go to be honest
  14. Used to see him and his horrible arrogant mates around Solihull all the time, wonder if brings him down to earth with a f**kin big crash.
  15. My local papershop is currently richer than Greece
  16. Our was everybody loves somebody sometime by Dean Martin, but the wife did also insist on take that rule the world as a little extra
  17. I think Newcastle has seen substantial improvements in the speed of service over the last sixty years; I think the steam service (Silver Jubilee) used to be over four hours, and since then its tumbled to two hours and thirty seven with trains running at over 125mph. The ECML has always been a ‘faster line’ and BR certainly experimented with trains going over 140 mph. The line could go in parts up to 160mph If I recall correctly the train times Birmingham Euston have actually gone up since BR and the line has simply run out of capacity and capacity to get quicker. I guess also they see Birmingham as a place to start and from here build outwards, so you get the speed also of being able to get from Birmingham to say Glasgow if you need to scout Steven Davies in the year 2050 I am more keen on increasing the speed from Newcastle to Birmingham than to London to be honest
  18. But then people like me who still after 6 years of living up here struggle with the local view of english would really be buggered
  19. From a selfish point of view I would prefer it if they started at the places that would get greater benefit of reduction of times to London (I live in Newcastle) . I am assuming there is a logistical reason for starting with Birmingham to London, be that cost, it being used as a hub site etc but on the basis that completion of this link alone not being completed for 14 odd years I dread to think of the timescales for other parts of the country. If I was on twitter I might finish off with #whenimdead..........or whatever it is
  20. It pisses me off when I tell them I will let them go out on loan, they are happy with that, I put them on the loan list and no one wants them and then they see it as I have broken my promise. Bloody footballers
  21. johnsonp
