I agree. Can't see what he did wrong for any of Bristol's goals. The first which he parried out was pretty unfortunate to fall to a Bristol player. 9/10 times that's not going to be the case. Neigh on impossible to catch that shot as well. The third was a very accurate and well struck set piece, which he would have to have been poorly positioned in the first instance in order to save. Don't think many keepers would be stopping it unless they gambled on that side.

I guess his only difference to Guzan is that he's only been with us months, where Guzan was years and years. Jury's still out on Gollini for me. Actually don't think he did a lot wrong on the free kick and got a bit unlucky on the first. The Huddersfield clearance he would get right 9/10 times and just needs better understanding with his defence. As such, willing to give him a bit longer before calling in Bunn. Pulling him would be dreadful for his confidence and could ruin a perfectly decent £4m player for us.

Starting line up is strong but bench is worrying. Mind, wouldn't look so bad if not for Gestede and Tishbola but highlights how close we are from a tricky situation

Don't think it's such a bad series of matches. Sure, we're missing the glamour tie of years gone by but it's a fitness and confidence building exercise ahead of Saturday 6th August

It's a bit frustrating that following the international break we're up against Chelsea. It would be nice to have a week off, then look to bounce back from recent form with a solid result however in my eyes, I just can't see us taking much positive from this at all. Obviously hope I can be proven wrong, a draw would be an excellent result and it'll be nice to have club football back on the whole but it feels like Villa actually regroup against Swansea.

Nah he was shit. Booked our players instantly, just talked to the scummers. Let them get away with all sorts. Actually felt we got a fair few 50/50's and all the cards we got we fairly deserved given a few of the tackles. Clark and Gabby both deserved theirs at least!

Very glad to beat them obviously. Some good individual performances but really we should be beating them and we did. Good refereeing performance. Game played in good spirit on the whole. Not even being biased though, they looked poor. Only had one genuine scoring chance and they messed it up. Easy save for Guzan. It was a Premier League side worth a lot of money versus a Championship team not worth much at all. As I started, I'm very glad we won! Deserved.

Horses for courses. Gestede got a hatrick against them last season. He'll be confident against their defence. Their defence will pay a lot of attention to him, leaving Sinclair and Gabby free, let alone other who can score for us against Championship opposition. Logical selection for me.

Tickets are as good as on general sale from this morning - to anyone who has been to a match (ever) and has a booking reference. So if they are going to sell, it will be from today! Holte End looks like it will be full but North Upper, Trinity Upper and Witton Lane nowhere near. Perhaps sales will pick up post Albion if we get a result.

Tough game. Should be interesting. They have actually played well, at least got results despite harder games than us. We shown promise but obliterated in good positions. Could really use a win here, for morale and confidence going into the games ahead. Hoping for a decent attendance, players need the support I think after Leicester. My heart wants a response to that. From what I understood, it varies dependent on the seller (?). Some had a little yellow logo next to the tickets which if you hover over, states that you can pick them up from a Seatwave stall at VP. I can only presume the others are mailed. I was looking at two at £19 each earlier before realising one was a child's ticket. It's not that clear, just a tiny grey 'R' next to the tickets. Ended up just getting two for Albion near the front of the upper north for £30 each from the official site. If you value booking history and free postage I think the OS is the better option. Particularly in light of the fee's on Seatwave. Not so say you can't get lucky with somebody just looking to offload a couple for anything eg. less than half the face value.

The majority of the tickets on Seatwave seem to be full price which when your factor in the booking fee and fact you gain no booking history from the purchase, really isn't worthwhile!

In Roma right now and a taxi driver told me last night that we were signing him and he's highly rated around here... Take what you will. It's obviously been in the Italian press too.

Looks very strong against Derby U21. Got to remember that's Derby U21's of course. But still a great deal of promise with the ball at his feet. Very much looking forward to seeing him in the first team. Looks like he could create an amazing amount of shooting opportunities.
