What's the point of McCormack coming on with 5 minutes to play. Subs should have been made earlier in my opinion and given time to get into the match. Actually would have had Amavi and Ayew starting as well

I'm hoping we were forced into those subs? Ayew and Gestede remaining on the bench is disappointing. Hope Bruce gets a better look at the squad before the next match.

Suspect he would have scored if Kodjia passed on to him in the box. Also put Grealish through for the penalty so hasn't been totally anonymous

Adomah has looked good. As has Kodjia. McCormack has been in some good positions and played some good balls also. At the back, Cissokho looks like he's having a tough afternoon, even before the penalty which I don't think he could do a great deal about other than not have his hand in that position. Richards, Elphic and Chester all been ok in my view.

Managed to get himself sent home from England duty again injured. Doesn't seem too serious based upon the tone of his social media posts. -
Can't see that Wagner would want to come to be honest. He's established a good working relationship with his own team at Huddersfield which is getting results. Why would he leave that for a side which is struggling in 19th? Steve Bruce is the far more obvious choice. He's used to the concept of a challenge and the requirement for short term results.

Really disappointing. Poor team selection. Clearly didn't learn anything from the second half against Newcastle last week.

Don't have a chance of what? Promotion? The next 4 games definitely won't decide the top 6 come April. Weren't Chelsea still around us at this point last season and ended up finishing 10th.

Personally RDM has a little longer for me too. I know we're in dire straits but he's only lost 2 league games and there have been a few positives in the games we've drawn beyond the results. I haven't lost hope so he's got a while longer. A few losses in a row from this point could sway me the opposite direction, as could continuing for another month as we are!

I'd be tempted to play Baker either at RB or bring Chester across to RB and play Baker at CB. It's not ideal but shows how unhappy I would be with Richards or Hutton. Just don't want either anywhere near the side. Whilst we've been drawing a lot this season, those two are losers.

Personally, I think we've got a chance based upon this being at home and a 5pm kick off. Crowd will be up for it. Players will be up for it. It's a big game. You can say they should treat it like any other, Ipswich away for example but undoubtedly this is bigger.

They also lost to Wolves at the weekend. They've played better than us so far but they aren't unbeatable. Anita is a decent player so hoping his red card appeal is turned down.

Pretty much the whole team has changed so you can't say it's the same mindset on the pitch as last season. You can say it feels the same to watch as last season but they're a different team so it's fundementally not the same problems.

Is that the first time Micah Richards has made the bench this season?? Interesting to include him with Baker and Bacuna on the bench also. Guess it means Bacuna will probably come on in a more attacking position and Richards is covering right back.

Was saying Dembele has the potential to be top half Prem quality, rather than Sinclair. That's based upon the quality he showed yesterday, which whilst being against league 1/2 quality players, is in a game with the magnitude and importance of a cup final.

Seems to have regained his confidence north of the border. Do wonder how useful he could have been in the Championship if he had a decent run of games. Dembele playing alongside probably helps. Suspect his next move will be to a top half premier league side.

He's a doubt for the second Australia international in the UAE this evening. Picked up a knock in the last match. They are leaving it to the last minute to see if he can play so can't be too bad. Hasn't trained since arriving in the UAE though.

I'm on RDM side too. He seems very level headed and complements the Xia dynasty so far. I think so long as we're there or thereabouts by the end of the season, with no calamitious runs in between, he's got 2 seasons at getting us back up. I think that's reasonable given the investment and change which has unfolded at the club over the last 3 months.

I'm not entirely comfortable with him travelling 30,000 miles to play for Australia. The time difference and flights must take some recovery!
