    Yesterday I had the pleasure of witnessing a lecture on, amongst others, time, focus and resorce management from a Norwegian ex cross country skier of some merit, and he reminded us that results are simply the consequence of ones actions ahead of it. I suspect that Emery keeps this particular wisdom close to his heart and lets all his actions be directed in a meticulous and planned way, to arrive at the particular set of consequences he wants. What I also suspect is that this philosophy, being mindful that every action you take must be guided by what consequence is it that you want further down the road, it has taken hold in the whole team around him. It sound banal, but it really isn't. Especially not at that level. I'm rooting for that interpretation.

    I saw a lot of mispasses from positions not too pressured, which usually would have annoyed me to no end and cost us. And STILL 4-1. Wow.

    After watching Norway beat Cyprus, one 18 yo Norwegian caught my eye. It's not Haaland or Ødegaard, it's Antonio Nusa. Boy, is he going to become insanely good. Let's give Club Bruge an offer they can't refuse and ride happiuly into the sunset with this guy as a wing.

    This sounds like excellent piece of business, taking a bad situations like Mings' injury and turn it into a potential improvement on our setup. Also, there's something deeply satisfying about nabbing players directly from a powerhouse like Barcelona. We're not that big yet! But every action I seem from Emery & co makes me more certain we will be. Pretty soon. Good times.

    Tyler Adams rumors don't seem to want to die down. I'd still rather have Wilfried Gnonto if we had to go shopping in Leeds. Especially if it meant us not shipping out Douglas Louiz.

    If our manager has flown to Madrid to deal with this personally I think Asensio is pretty much ours. After all, I can't imagine anyone being able to resisit a facial with Unai Emery.
