  1. If some reports are to believe, this kid might just become something really exceptional. https://www.astonvillanews.co.uk/2023/04/26/rory-wilson-proving-himself-the-brightest-talent-to-play-for-aston-villa-academy-since-jack-grealish/ Also. That goal. Chef's kiss.
  2. So....we were shit and still managed to nab a point. That's it. We're going to Europe.
  3. We've been sloppy too many times this half, but it also seems Brentford has done their homework, making it difficult for us. Though, that only means we need to be better at producing those little moments of magic and not waste the opportunities. Not going to be too many of them, I'm afraid.
  4. Unstoppable force vs unmovable rock type of situation.
  5. I have to agree here. This is a rather exciting match, and what's more exciting is the fact that it IS exciting! I'm excited that we get to be this excited about a match against a team as New bloody castle, because of the possibly exciting ramifications. Money, or no money, we've both gotten our teams into good positions by doing a lot of stuff right, and even if Saudis preferrably stayed out of all kinds of football, for now I'd rather have Newcastle up here than any of the usual top 6 suspects. It is good and healthy to mix it up a bit. We live in exciting times. UTV.
  6. Yay! I started to miss a proper transfer window discussion. Let's rack up some more wins in the meantime to make the players we want notice us.
  7. Wonder if "weighing up" is part of "preparing" or if the weighing comes first.
  8. How infinitely sick and tired I am of these kinds of empty headlines. Please shut the damn window already.
  9. Out of curiosity, what don't you like about VillaTV? Don't know what it's like, at least not its current iteration.
  10. I suppose we are a good team now. Winning matches even when playing shit.
  11. This one is certainly going to be interesting, as it's a different challenge than the previous ones. It's either going to be a frustrating 1-1 or 4-0 Villa.
  12. Ashley has been a revelation, this season in particular. As a nice additional point, he makes other 37 years old stars look like complete tools, even disregarding antics outside of the pitch. Not mentioning names.
  13. To be honest, I'll prefer us giving out a good drubbing sooner rather than later. No matter if it's against a top ten side or not, I'm liberal regarding that!
  14. Have to admit I closed my eyes instinctively the moment Augustinsson came on, and kept them shut for the rest of the match. Did he do as bad as in the midweek, or were there any redeeming qualities to spot?
