Interesting to see some pedaling GGG v Saunders as a possibility in the new year. Whilst there is only going to be one winner (GGG) it makes you wonder if BJS is doing the correct thing in taking a bucket load of money before GGG moves up a weight class by fighting him, or is it the wrong thing as it will effectively end BJS's career with the pummeling he will inevitably take?

Saw Skysports were suggesting this yesterday. Think it could be a really good fight. Brook other than Porter has a severely padded out record and outside of the ring is a bit of a dick (I know most boxers are) and has always said he would beat Khan, which when you have only beaten one decent fighter means either you are confident or chasing a pay-day, FWIW I believe it's the former. Khan meanwhile has been fairly inactive chasing Pacman and Mayweather and will have something to prove in front of UK fans. I reckon it could be a genuinely 50/50 fight. If it is done at Wembley then is a real chance for UK boxing to put on a showcase with people like Groves or Eubank Jnr on the undercard. I won't go as it will be too expensive but could be a really good night

Applied for Berlin Marathon ballot and didn't get in, kind've relieved as heart wasn't truly in it. Maybe next year, but will keep occupied with a few runs in the meantime. Andyjsg I assume you get in to VLM with a qualifying time? What time you looking to run in April?

Great stuff to see a Brit on top of the world. Fully deserved, the team that Fury surrounded himself with sniffed out all Wlad's tricks and gave Tyson the best chance and he delivered perfectly. IMO Graham Fenton Mk 2, kids if you don't know who Fenton is look him up, one good appearance at Wembley for villa, was allegedly the second coming of Mortimer. Rumour has it he believed his hype and faded down through the leagues to nothingness. I see Grealish heading the same way but potentially a more spectacular fall as Fenton wasnt knowing for his drinking antics

Khan claims there have been talks RE him and Brook fighting next year, would love to see a card with those 2 and Degale v Groves but sense egos would get in the way and both would want to be last fight on in the night. With those 4 and Quigg v Frampton and maybe Fury v Joshua down the line there are some really solid all British fights possible for 2016

Didn't the tories promise not to raise VAT before the last election and the do it anyway. Empty promises mean that pretty much all politician's words are meaningless and carry no value and it is for that reason I will go to the ballot and spoil the paper. I would not vote at all but feel in doing so would feel guilty for wasting the lives of those who fought for us to have the right to vote.

Listened to the interview on 5 Live last night. The criteria for home grown players are they can be Non EU if they have been in England for 5 years at their 19th birthday which should stop people bypassing the rule as a player should not move clubs before his 14th birthday unless there are mitigating circumstances. They then put Alan Irvine on the phone who said one of those mitigating circumstances is if their parent should get a job in a foreign country say working for a football club. Fill in the gaps and you can see that the FA are powerless to stop clubs doing what they like.

The hipster element of the smarks on the internet. Bryan came through independent wrestling productions before making it big with WWE. This means that people knew about him before he was a big star. Like CM Punk he is in my opinion just a good wrestler in a fairly average era he must be promoted to being one of the best of all time (as is the case with everything nowadays on the internet) You won't get much love for saying you like Cena and Reigns as it is now cool to dislike the 'good' guys. Personally I think both are good at being the characters they are told to portray

So Froch has given up the belt to in his words "give DeGale a shot at the title". Think this all heads toward DeGale v Groves II at some point, hopefully with both as world champions. People who use their phones while driving. It's illegal and before mobile phones were invented you got by without phoning people while driving, if you feel you can't get by without phoning whilst driving get a hands free kit, there is no excuse to be on the phone and don't even get me started on people texting/using facebook while driving!

I am moving from an area with virgin broadband to an area without. The options are Sky (I'd rather not give Murdoch the phone hacker any money), BT (My dad has had serious problems with their broadband) or Plusnet. Does anyone have any experience of Plusnet's service? The review websites seem to hammer all broadband providers, I guess people are more inclined to write a bad review than a good one PS (sorry donnie)
