  1. J2 (otherwise known as 'granny') wiki J2 was the oldest known orca, guestimated to have lived over 100 years. Thought to have had her last offspring in the 1950's, Orcas are one of a very rare group of animals that continue to live long after they are too old to reproduce. The other animal being human beans.
  2. Yes. Well, it looks the same as what I got when I asked for head balls. Though I couldn't kick my legs like that.
  3. Project fear? Or a sensible precaution? duck and cover still no website for falling off a ladder, which kills between 50 to 60 UK citizens every year (he observed, somewhat flippantly)
  4. To be fair to the tories, they are trying to help the wealthier more prosperous areas improve their care services with changes to the council tax. Poorer areas can go **** themselves. Which can only encourage poorer areas to be wealthier and then get extra help. So it will be a sort of brilliant virtuous circle. Brilliant.
  5. I know of two banks that have been building and converting vast areas of 'office' space in Malta. Now, I can see how millionaire traders and whatnot might not feel like a move to Malta. But they've spent a fluffton of money on i.t. and broadband and floor space and car parking and infrastructure and on site malls of shops. So, I'd imagine Malta have an interest in making it awkward in some way for London to keep its current position and status in the world of european finance. They might not get what they want, they're only Malta. But I wouldn't expect them to just sign off and agree to the U.K. carrying on as if we hadn't left the union.
  6. When all we've been told is that we'll be having a red white and blue brexit, it's difficult to form an opinion on it all being sound and well thought out. There's a desire to give out a message that says 'we have listened, we are negotiating a very good pro UK patriotic deal', unfortunately, the track record of many involved such as Johnson, Fox and May suggests they are keeping it secret and vague because they don't know what to do, other than hope that some months down the line, we'll all be 'out' but with promises to agriculture, and manufacturing, and banking, and airlines, and american tax dodgers that they will be either exempt or compensated. If our chief negotiator was so poor, why on earth, with weeks to go, hadn't the government replaced him anyway? We've left a control freak, a disgraced former defence secretary and Boris Johnson in charge of this. They are running scared of heavy weight thinkers such as Farage, Mrs Gove, The Mail, Murdoch and Rees Mogg. I'm sure it'll turn out just **** fine.
  7. Ah, I read it the other way. I took 'might' be 'one of' the best films watched this year, on January 4th, as being a pretty poor review. I was clearly dialling in a level of sarcasm and mischief that wasn't there!
  8. Gammon, egg, mash and beans. Followed by a slither of lightweight cake. Coffee and small glass of Glen Moray whisky now.
  9. sad thing is, part of me put that up to tempt fate I'd happily have people laugh at my choice to stay home when 11 miles down the road Villa smack 6 wonder goals in the second half sadly, I think I'm safe with my choice as it stands back at home now, laying on the floor, headphones on, listening to music and following the game on twitter.., wife making a chocolate cake bordered with chocolate fingers, she said if I'm lucky I might get a chocolate finger later she has no idea how funny she is
  10. I could have been sat with the home supporters today, just to be at a Villa game. Stayed on the island drinking hot chocolate instead.
  11. Many people have a healthy distrust of politicians, want jobs, dislike 'globalisation'. Trump spent less money pushing a simple message about not being a politician, creating jobs and being anti globalisation. he did this in key states. Clinton was as establishment as its possible to be and played mannequin challenge on a jet with Bon Jovi. Her team dismissed Trump and read it wrong. I appreciate that's a massive scrunched up simplification, but there was a large poll of 129,000,000 voters (in which neither candidate achieved 50.1%) and that's how it panned out.
  12. Hmm, I've given it a try a couple of times through the course of the day. Just too monotone a delivery for me.
  13. money fame Rimmel extreme bronzer
  14. I had a friend that got found not guilty of football hooliganism on that very technicality. Back when it was trendy to be in a casual footy gang with calling cards one of the local groups were the 'guerillas'. There was a disturbance in town and the police grabbed everyone nearby and bundled them in to vans. My mate, Eddie, had gorilla stickers in his pocket (as we all do). Case was dismissed in about a minute. He had no previous, he was wearing a suit and tie and on a direct route between work and home at 6:00pm. The magistrate however, wanted to particularly concentrate for most of that minute, on why the police thought a gorilla was a guerilla.
  15. But what do you mean 'allowed 8 days'? Would you get the sack or something? I can't believe that all NHS staff manage to keep sick leave to 8 days or less. Is it that you drop to statutory sick pay maybe? Genuinely interested what allowed 8 days means. Our office puts people on SSP after 4 days.
  16. There's a constant 'liberal' stream of people saying he's a moron and makes no sense and is just basically, thick. He's doing alright for a thicko. I don't like him or trust him, he's just plain horrible. But I'd suggest neither him or his supporters will be overly worried about the educated middle classes continuing a ranting narrative about him being thick or speaking like someone that lacks an education in public speaking.
  17. Is there a suggestion here that you need to pass some sort of exam set by the establishment before you're allowed to stand for election?
  18. 30 years of sussing if post is a birthday card from nan, he can afford to dress quite smartly.
