  1. We might see a new record tonight folks...
  2. I know this might sound a bit crazy given that it seems to be the most unpopular thing in football these days, but how about playing 4-4-2? I think this would allow us to get the most out of Ayew given what we saw against SHA. That said, I think we'll be the better team and still lose allowing Rodgers to survive another week, it's just how the football gods seem to work.
  3. Three at the back would be suicide, given the small amount of preparation time since the last game and the general chaos of the derby I'm sure it would end up a complete mess with players not sure who they should be tracking and which one would be allowed to wander from their position in various scenarios. If you want to go defensive just pack the midfield with as many bodies as possible. My personal view though, don't start Grealish, have Gil and Sinclair out wide to hit them on the break and Gestede up top to get on the end of crosses/intimidate the back line. Bring Jack on later to run at them once they begin to tire.
  4. He's a psycho. The commentator here in Iceland said when he did it a second time: "No. No, not again Tim.". I don't even care. What is this neck thing? Checking his pulse, think it was his way of saying "we're still alive".
  5. Both fullbacks were excellent, Gabby was hit old self in the first half, good change bringing Grealish on as they were scared of pace. **** buzzing, well done lads!
  6. Dukla Prague, I'm hoping to get their away kit for Christmas.
  7. Why, is Sanchez leaving too? hahaha That will teach me for avoiding the main forum
  8. Sanchez was very impressive, strong in the tackle and some good burst forwards. Looking forward to seeing him and Delph together.
  9. Arsène Wenger concerned as Arsenal’s injury list continues to grow I mean, erm, how terrible for them.
  10. There was mention on the Football Weekly podcast that Pardew's deal has a relatively low basic salary with a lot of addons, so getting rid of him wouldn't cost more than any other manager out there.
  11. I really don't get all the fuss about us not being his first choice, we won here. We got the player we wanted, we got a deal which is extremely low risk, our midfield is now stronger, our squad has more depth, and us fans got a bit of post-deadline day drama to follow.
  12. Can I just predict handbags between Pardew and Warnock at some point?
  13. Just a suggestion, but how about Borini on loan? With Balotelli coming in he's not going to get much of a look in at Liverpool and he appears to have burned his bridges on Wearside despite the Sunderland fans clamoring to get him back this season.
  14. I saw The Fall at Warwick Art Center earlier in the year, the sound was pretty atrocious but it was an entertaining show, MES even looked like he was enjoying himself. I've also managed to catch HMHB in the past year, that was great fun as the place was packed and everybody in the room knew every word to every song. Anyway, I actually dropped in here to do a bit of spamming, if anybody is around Wolvo tonight and is looking for something to do, we're playing a free gig supporting the excellent Silhouettes (who may be known to some of you for playing at that kit launch festival thing).
  15. 17th/18th, we'll be on the end of plenty of embarrassing cricket scores along the way.
  16. ...Lee Hendrie?! Maybe getting him back on board is same logic as those 'scared straight' things they do in the US where they get convicts in to talk school kids through all the bad decisions they've made to end up in that situation.
  17. All I can think of whenever I hear about this:
