Belgium win with Lukaku anytime is 11/10, can see Belgium just trying to get it wide then into the box one way or another. Brazil Mexico I can't find the bet I like. Maybe a card market. Think this will be a close game with Mexico looking to get a point.

Switzerland might be solid in qualifying but this is a different. The Swiss defence isn't as solid, they have Senderos and Djourou! That Ecuador attack will cause some problems for sure.

Today a France -1, Argentina double is most likely what I will do to play it safe. £20 returns about £55 I think. Swiss/Ecuador is a strange game, I get a feeling it will be a draw but the Swiss are stronger than I think they are, BTTS is possible, over 2.5 goals seems good value at around evens.

Iv played it safe and just gone with the Colombia/Uruguay double, £20 returns £55. Might go Uruguay -1 but don't want to touch the handicap with Greece involved.

As much as I love Benteke, the last thing we can accuse him of is 'football intelligence'. Sure, he does have great ideas every now and then (last season at anfield as example) but the ammount of chances he could have created with a good through ball is incredible, and sometimes painful to watch. Is Benteke great? yes. Is he worth 20mil+? Probably? Is he an intelligent player? I dont think so I actually think Benteke is very intelligent. He thinks on such a high level that he has already figured out that there is a higher chance of a goal if he attempts to take everyone on and score a 30 yard screamer than putting Weimann in 1 v 1 with the keeper.

Torn on my £20 top scorer bet, likely Aguero but he plays out wide, as does Neymar. I think if Costa starts he is insane value at 25/1, I will be betting on that probably £10. Chile to beat Australia and Belgium to beat Algeria is just over evens, not sure how much to put on this yet.

It was mentioned in the Senderos thread. I'm against it for now. There's always a habit on VT to suggest moving players as soon as they are doing well. If a player is doing well in his position, then he's good in that position. We should be moving players who don't play well in their position imo. CB is such an important position. I don't think, if we've found someone who is really good there (and there's nothing to prove he will be yet, just potential), that we should be so keen to move him out of that position. I mentioned in this thread maybe a month or two ago that I think he would make a good DM. He is very small for a CB and he has made up for that with his great jump but once someone has been out for a season with a knee injury I don't like the idea of them jumping/landing from a great height. Our midfield doesn't offer much protection to the back like, if we were in a position to get another top CB in Id do it, shift Jores next to Delph and that would free up an AM role. However we are currently completely screwed anyway and can't afford to do it.
