He would defo fit in our system. Another very good ball carrier. Plays like a cross between Doug and McGinn. A load of skill for a defensive midfielder.

I am a bit young to remember but Swinkels seems genuinely 2 footed. Left and right footed 40 yard passes found their target nearly every time

Raikhy has a real chance . Brilliant presser good awareness. Great tackler . And to top it off a fantastic passer of the ball. Physically imposing as well .

First half of the season i think we were a team of the most consistent individuals in the league. We were up on Whoscored as the top 3 average score in Europe per player. Apart from Leeds we were well in every single game right to the end . Then we had the covid break and after that it has been the opposite. Whether teams worked us out or whether covid did effect perfomances it is hard to say , but it does bode well for next season

I think he is here for the medium term . In October he will hopefully sign another 3 year or 4 year deal. Any idea who his agent is ?

In the league yes but they all get to play in the Youth Cup to get that idea of real competition. With 3 or 4 of them training with the 1st team and playing mostly U23 football you can see how they are improving month by month if not week by week

His hair adds 3 inches . He isnt massive by any stretch

A mix of mostly Pogba with a bit of Grealish. Amazing feet and touch and balance and finishing and vision and utter calmness . After watching the game back again and rewinding every good thing he did i noticed that he does the Grealish thing where he passes with the outside of the foot in the box so doesn't need to use his left. No Ramsey yesterday meant he didn't have to share the glory and played at a different level to everyone else. That said watching it back Raikhy was bloomin brilliant as well.

I must admit that i hadn't thought Chukwuemeka was as good as he had been made out to be .... until tonight. He seems to have everything . A potentially brilliant player. Barry had a shite game and we still scored 6. There are threats all over the pitch and many of them have made huge improvements over the season. With both Chrisene and Aaron not playing either tonight the future is looking decent isn't it

Was just thinking that myself. Its like a Michael Jackson moonwalk in reverse. Also without Aaron playing, Chukuemeka is taking hold of this game by the scruff of the neck. Normally they share the attacking mid stuff but its giving Chuk the chance to do it all himself . And i love the way they pass and move so quickly

Love nearly everything about Keinan and would be brilliant to see him make it . I even think he gets himself into really good positions like a natural goalscorer. He can get the ball out of his feet really well to shoot. But the one bit he doesnt have is the very last part of the process. The timing of a strike of the ball. So often theres no power in the shot alot like Wesley. Can that be taught in your early 20s? Watch Louie Barry and the reason he will make it is the way he strikes a ball. Despite Keinan being a far more powerful individual Barry times the ball so much better. His hard shots are venemous and even shots like the one against liverpool just fly in the net with timing and placement. Anyway i really like the lad and hope he can do it but its a fundamental skill that he needs to develop and i really don't know if its too late or not

Their power is now negated. No one will be able to get a breakaway league off the ground and they will not be able to use any threats to get more of the pie 12 point penalty in next seasons premier league for bringing the game into disrepute. In terms of skills then yes. But the bit that he is brilliant at is finishing. He hits the ball early and with venom. Think of him as a slower Michael Owen i reckon.

When Grealish is back it would be good to see McGinn play the same role as today . Could be some great switching between the two in that role and i think they would tear it up .

3 months before the Euros so i fully understand why he hasnt been called up . Next season if he isnt in the first squad then there should be uproar. Pisses me off Bellingham is picked. Because he is a future world star that is only 17. Southgate just loves em young . There is real case for him to be integrated next season and give him a rest in the summer

Watched the game with a Blues fan . Who was absolutely raving about his recovery pace and reading of the game. Couldnt understand how he wasnt in the England squad . And this was the first time he had really watched the villa in 2 years so EK was a mystery to him.

How the fook does a 6 ft 4 guy built like a heavyweight boxer have the reflexes of a wasp. Genetic freak and a wonderful person on top. Lots of average performances so i will ignore those and pick out the good and the bad. Martinez . That save was only half of it . The best bit was him hugging Targett when he stopped a free header . A great goalkeeper and a great teammate . Sanson . Without being incredible he showed loads of energy and got around the pitch brilliantly. We looked worse when he came off . Watkins . Brilliant . Really wierd to love a striker when he doesnt score or assist . But this kid is brilliant. Really don't know how he keeps going for the whole game. Traore was no good today. But if things don't come off then we can now see he will work for the team . Barkley . I don't feel confident whenever he is on the ball. Seems to lose it so often and make the wrong choices. He cannot press either which i think would be because of his heavy set physique .

My personal belief is that konsa and mings are greater than the sum of their parts . They fit together perfectly. Mings talking and heading ability together with Konsas positioning, calmness under pressure and deceptive speed . If you were to work out the perfect centre half partnership on paper then this is what you would be looking for. I think both are top class but they rise above as a partnership.

Said it a few weeks ago that he is so inexperienced for his age . Him and Konsa have played the same amount of career games .He has not even reached his prime yet he is always looked at as the experienced of the 2 . .You add in his talking and organising to his natural physical attributes and it is plain to see he is a huge asset that is only going to get better and better.
