The improvement over last season is immense. People will be dreading playing him. Tough but with great quality .

Nah . Because if we are using COVID as a reason then we would surely expect the defence to be playing really poorly as well. When in fact they are playing really well and have kept 3 out of 4 clean sheets. We also have Deano saying that the players stats are constantly looked at and he is happy they are not overtired. I fully appreciate tiredness as a factor but 50 pervent of the team based on whats been happening seem not to be tired and not out of form.

Worth 10 points a season. Or maybe more. In the last 4 games he has earned us at least 4 probably even 7. Matchwinner

Good point . But in 2 of the games they have really stunted grealish output and our chances created has dropped accordingly. I will admit i thought we looked weak tonight. Brightons players looked stronger to a man. I am not screaming blue murder like some. Just looking at the stats to see if there is a trend

The stats back up the thoughts that teams are working us out. Up until southampton we were averaging 15 shots per game throughout the season and had at least 10 shots in every game Last 4 against southampton 8 shots west ham 9 shots arsenal 10 shots and tonight 4 shots. Basically halved our creative output in the last month.

Yep . If we are talking players that could play top 3 across Europe then he is one of two we have. Didnt he sign a short ish contract as well . I think they said 3 years but that might have been paper talk

I think it is about filling in the gaps in the summer with maybe 1 big suprise Lookman at striker / wing would be nice with Davis leaving Robinson at full back would be nice with Taylor leaving Viktor Nelsson from Copenhagen woild be nice at CB with Engels leaving. and then a big big signing in midfield to be either A DM if Dougie goes back to City. An AM if he doesnt . That makes a scarily balanced squad with Carney and Bidace maybe breaking through into matchday teams

Amazing how under the radar Konsa is . Just watched the Potter pre match press conference where he waxes lyrical about not only our attack but out defence and then namechecks everyone until he says " and whoever partners Mings in defence" . Id it because he doesnt do last ditch defending so no one notices?

He strikes me as incredibly loyal . I hope he will be here for many many years whilst also ensuring legendary status. The other thing is unless we fall foul of FFP i cannot see us selling a key player unless it is insane money .

Footballtalentscout.net which look at all the best youngsters throughout Europe rate him 10/10 world class potential . I checked a few other players out to see how accurate they are and they have Mason Greenwood as 10/10, Phil Foden 9/10 Haaland 9/10 so in pretty esteemed company.

I think we can safely say that he is very highly rated when they give him a 4.5 year deal. Its the time when many do not push on so its a very good sign they have given him a long contract

100 million percent theres a real footballer there. Dont know how i know because he hasnt really showed anything that brilliant yet but there is . You can just tell sometimes. Its in his eyes. No nerves . Just a blank expression that nothing phases him. Plus he is nicknamed Rambo.

Thats what i was thinking . Kessler needs another 2.5 years maybe to hopefully develop into the rb they expect him to. So a quality older rb would be probably how we go, especially with the squad so young. Maybe the same on the left with Chrisene although i think he is playing there out of need rather than because they want him there. Once Kessler is 18 he can then go out on loan for a season and push on with any luck

Just watched the U23 highlights from the weekend. First time i have seen Carney properly and he really looks a player already. I think this is one that will be a proper first team squad member next season. Got the athleticism and the skill in equal measure

Ramsey should 100 % be in the conversation to start in place of Barkley. I just get the feeling that he is going to be really special

Do not get me wrong . I do not care how many chances he misses. I love the bloke and his work ethic. I was just asking a question and playing devils advocate. A teams main goalscorer is sometimes left alone to do exactly that . But Ollie leads the line not just in going up for headers like it used to mean but running the width of the pitch for 90 as well as tracking back .He is like having a 12th man on the pitch because he does 2 roles at the same time !!

Thats got me thinking . If we carry on and get Europe and then take into account COVID effecting clubs financially do you think that this season we could go after clubs in the premier leagues best players ? . Normally the top 4 take the cream like spurs and liverpool have done in the last few years. Would we be able to and sell it to them as a club with huge ambition ?

He is frustrated because 1. He was always subbed at Chelsea and psychologically it probably has effected him. And 2. He knows he is playing poorly at the moment and offering very little. Double Bubble. Whichever it is i am sure he will come good very soon because every single player in this team does come good sooner rather than later

I would say a midfielder as well but a strong tall DM like that Soucek at the Hammers . I think Sanson can be the attacking mid ?
