  1. He was not quite the "Mover & Shaker" they were looking for in the transfer market.
  2. That's made my day that has What a great description of a footballer's various attacking and defensive attributes.
  3. I think he's a little busy at the moment as he is both ankle and hip deep right up old mother Brown the silly cockney joke of a man. His only viable use these days would be to used as a "Don't go to near the fire for ****s sake" public information poster boy type gig, not really what he was looking for but well you know. Could they make Harry sit still for one picture, could they ****. He even messed up being a victim of himself. The poor blurry man.
  4. I truly believe they are now all in a race to the bottom, there is nothing for any party to be proud about these days. I think they are all vile power mad idiot's. Imagine the stuff that goes on in Government that we never ever hear of. In reality I would say nobody should go near the DUP with anything or than a barge poll.
  5. At a guess it's the same reason why Apple will manage to sell loads of new Iphone X's
  6. It's really odd but I have a sort of phobia for it, I used to actually worry about it if I knew I was going clothes shopping. I have not bought any clothes for well over 10 years. My mrs just gets them and they appear in the wardrobe.
  7. Logically that means that so many people tried it they had to tell the others not to do it. FFS. I think if they just had a question "Can you shoot a cloud ?" on the gun registration form then the crime rate would reduce dramatically over time.
  8. There is a "fake news" video out there from CNN, it shows people bravley saving, without caring for their own safety I might add, loads and loads of stock from "Foot Locker". I think they will start there and help other shops out I suppose. They even took it (The stock) all home in their cars to dry it all out I presume. The dubbing of the lips on the news cast is using that new software to match the words / mouth. Really impresive technology anyway.
  9. In my defence, I had to convert it from KG to Stones as they don't have stones in The Netherlands. I work in Finance, the decimals are important
  10. I am down to a 30" now, I am 5'8 and 10.4 stone. (Mrs got me a new pair of 30's the other week) This is a combination of a few things, I don't really get hungry + ADHD means that I go up and down approx 40 floors a day and walk approx 7-10 kms a day (walking to and from work + Dog walking) So even if I wanted to put weight on I cant. I burn approx 2400 - 2900 calories a day.
  11. Beat me to it *shakes fist agrily* But...The Scissors are the wrong way up anyway on your example, you know full well the sharp end needs to be pointed right at the throat / jugular area. I was going to say "Booo, bad diagram "Sad"!!" but I am not the President. I will however say that the crafty addition of the ruler holder on the "Thin" segment of the tie is a refreshing and welcomed addition to the range. I just hope the wood based stationary products don't rub together and cause a upper torso based fire, that would be truly awful.
  12. Just been to the council to pick up my Dutch citizenship documents and passport. They let me in . I am a true economic migrant. I have a Dutch and English Passport. It is quite a big thing I suppose and I am well happy about it. Almost 18 years here now that was an initial "6 months max" in Holland so funny how things go. Brexit cannot touch me now either.
  13. There are a few Dutch TV programmes I like to watch, maybe 2 or 3. I have been recording them on the box and I tried to watch one of them yesterday. (it's really good for my Dutch as well) Now this is possibly the most stupid and desperate move by anyone in the TV industry anywhere. You can record the shows but not fast forward through the adverts. So the channel is now unwatchable, well done. (The adverts are 10 min + and are basically a lot of English adverts with Dutch put on top so think ITV adverts but a lot lot worse) Nobody watches the channel / programme at work now either so what is the point of the childish action as it means that they now get less people watching the channel. I was thinking of watching it and then turn the volume down during the adverts but I am not playing their silly games. Removed all these channels from the favourites on my box so what did their little pathetic action actually achieve ?
  14. Spot on there mate, it did not go well at all. There's a lesson somewhere within that for us all I think ? In many ways when the "ACME" loyalty card landed on the carpet in the "Coyote" residense it was both a blessing and curse for the family in question. Yes the bread(or bird in this case) winner of the house had regular work due to the quite unbleliavble delivery times of aformetioned company but he did on occasion arrive home with some "Bumps and Bruises" and the table was unfortunatley empty on more than one occasion.
  15. She started well in the 1st line, really strong to give her some credit. She kinda fell away badly in line 2 and totally crashed in line 3. The perils of free-style thinking and untapped logic right there. I think. Without proper training and education it can go very wrong as we can see by this fine example from "Ann". I am not sure "Ann" knows what's real and not currently. One of her earlier tweets proclaimed "Save USA", is this a call to arms within the medium to long term savers within mainland America to increase their monthly contributions to both their pension funds and building society accounts or is it a 3rd person reference to a penalty save in "Soccer" by the current USA goalkeeper, we can only guess at this stage.
  16. Warning, might make you wince a bit..... Usually I expect life to go up and down, just not within 2 hours. Daughter (31) takes my granddaughter (4) and her mate from next door to go play football. Ball goes over fence (6ft) so she stops the kids from going over the fence and she climbs over, gets ball throws back and climbs over fence, slips and instantly loses her ring finger, completely. Its on the top of the fence. She goes up and gets it and wraps her hand / finger in a scarf type thing. Tells the kids she has took a nail off. Walks 800 m to home. Put in Ice etc...goes to hospital, operation. Can't save it. Meanwhile I am at the hospital now sorting my granddaughter out and taking her home with me. (I am a bit panicky because I have a real fear of hand injuries (Think train door New Street early 80's and thumbs and ambulances on Platform 9 and stuff)) + It would be unfortunate if it was her right hand(It is) and it would be super unlucky if she was a hairdresser (she is). Her boyfriend has never worked and he is 34, still not looking for a job though. At home now, granddaughter in bed. Phone goes, other daughter in Australia informs me I am going to be a Granddad again. I don't cry much but I did on this day. (Note, I did not know or even think about this but there was a huge dance event by me last weekend and they (the hospital close to said event) had 3 people do the same thing on the same night last weekend within about 3 hours of each other, trying to get into the events by jumping the fence and all losing fingers. If it goes like this they can never put it back as it a stretch then snap so the tendons and stuff are F******)
  17. Or serious brain injury as they are more commonly known as.
  18. It's like living in a cartoon at the moment. All we need is North Korea or specifically their leader to build a headquater type base in a volcano with a sliding roof and we are all set. We got floods, missiles actually flying over Japan, A cartoon POTUS and pitched battles in the US about statues where the Swaztika is happily on display. This is just the last few weeks ffs. I am glad I am building an ark.
  19. It's a 6/10 for me on the Spa Track. I have driven round it loads and loads on the playstation in my seat, some of it is amazing, but, I like it apart from the chicane at the end. They could have done so much more with that part, unless you are a muppet you will not lose a place there under braking so after all the big straight it dies a death IMO, from there until the long straigh after the dip there is not much passing possible due to the tight turn in the the first fast dip. I think the bit at the start down the hill is breathtaking and the undulations and the weather are why people like it so much + it's in a super handy place for D / NL / B / GB / FR fans to get too so maybe that plays a part.
