  1. Can't you just let her out if your attic when it gets too hot or at least open a window ?
  2. It's a good job it (weed) does't effect me in any way and I never repeat things, ever.
  3. Sticking to my guns, if I saw her in a coffee shop I would think she is proper fit. Sticking to my guns. on this one. Forget she is famous and never opened her gob.
  4. "Anti-virus scanning" auto-initiated by her OS (Can cause brief system hang):Scheduling not possible, trial version anti-virus only She had been shaking a lot of dirty hands after all.
  5. (empathy) It's probably the hardest to fake and the easiest to spot as well. Forget political parties or whatever, just on the human aspect, Corbyn made it look easy with the victims of the tragedy, like effortless, he wanted to be there as far as I could see and he looked genuinely shocked to his core. May on the other hand could rehearse it until the end of time and she would still shake the wrong persons hand (her own bodyguard or similar) or fall over and then pull someones drip out there arm.
  6. Agreed, it's got that "just before a hot weekend, people are a little on the peeved side, things will go wrong type of vibe" It's an infectious thing as well, once it goes it goes all night.
  7. It's better to say "A substantial fund has been set up and I have personally instructed the immediate task force to oversee the Admin or whatever to make this work and work quickly for the people affected" (Get it a bit organised FFS) Otherwise with a fixed number people start dividing it by something and comparing to the refurbishment costs or similar. Dunno, seems a bit "Here's 5 mill between you, now STFU"
  8. I think Lilly Allen is proper gorgeous. Move along, nothing to see here.
  9. Got any kids or is it just too well trained ? (Or can you instruct it on or off ?)
  10. Is that the "Mr Tortoise Head" person who used to be housing minister ?
  11. She did look very upset, she was doing this stuff in the 40's remember and she still has to do it 70 odd years later when we effectively do it to ourselves. She does not need to troll anyone, she is bullet proof in my book.
  12. I am happy to give the nipper the benefit of doubt, for all we know his best friend(s) are missing and he does not know how to process this. He's sees people asking an obviously important man who is on camera, I duuno, he is only little and he has seen and lived through it. (This is partly why May won't meet the public unless it's a totally cleansed environment on her terms only) Can't have people (Or children) saying things like "building regulations, strong and stable ?" with a smouldering shell in the background can she ?
  13. I suppose it could be one of them "Brings down the government" type things in the end. Manchester then London terror attacks, very difficult to stop for any government. The Fire, now there is a burnt out shell 20 + floors high that will not go away for May, like a black smouldering tombstone, it will be on the horizon for a long, long time just to remind her how things are going, 100% preventable, & on her watch no matter what she claims. She is one of the unluckiest PM's I have to admit but it's not going well, things like this have no respect for time, there could be something else over the weekend as we all know. The claim that she could not meet the victims yesterday becasue of all her security as it would have been a distraction, the security and safety of ones population I suppose is also distracting to the Government, so they don't really bother with that. She looked like a woman who has NEVER even set foot into a building of that type, let alone understand what it is like to live in one. It's not just one family per floor love, let's get that straight. I have lived in a few in Birmingham and it ain't good living.
  14. It's a bit like the trains, London underground and football stadiums. Even the Manchester plane disaster on the tarmac initiated real and permanent changes in safety all over the world. All got sorted after a lot death's in the 80 and 90's. On reflection I must say these seems a very, very way odd to approach this. Just get someone to point at stuff, "that a bit shit to be honest, fix it now or you are not allowed to use it, bye". I have gone into a bit to far too much detail there I know but surely it is cheaper in the long run to prevent things or am I just not getting something ? Is there a ministry of Safety ? And then check over your investment at regular intervals that without deem the enterprise non-usable. Best to check it becasue you really will and anyone to do wit hit end up in prison on a new charge for this sort of thing as its between manslaughter and murder in my book, like between a sheep and a dog.
  15. Un-learning it as I type (But I might need it for Scrabble)
  16. Just opened that doc, did a find "Fire", 1 result. Gas Fire's was the only result.
  17. I think this sort of thing can be forgotten by any government I would think, it's not a vote winner I suppose for one and with buildings like that I could see it forever in a loop of knock it down / spend money on it no becasue we might X,Y to it one day. No point spending millions if you think it will be leveled anyway has some bearing on it I suppose. Still, it's really sad and even if you survive you have got nothing, I can't imagine it man.
  18. Since the time these were built l(late 60's / early 70') in this specific case 1974 anyone who has been in Government and specifically the department that can legislate and they haven't looked at the safety conditions and improved them as a matter of course needs to have a look at themselves. It's part of their job, I know its easy after the event but its not the job of forums to come up wit this stuff, they get paid to do this stuff ? The safety and well being of the population should be a priority ?
