  1. 2-1 and a finger nail biting finish.
  2. Not that I’m justifying Tish, but remember that we lost a number of players for almost free due to our inability to get players signed up. When we were signing players at this time all the noise being made was about the need to ensure we had our talent, ahem, signed up for a decent period of time to ensure we didn't get into the same place again. You’re never going to get it all right and there will inevitably be case like this. However, the plus side is younger players we think have a future have been signed for a decent length of time.
  3. He's a young lad learning his trade. All young players have good and bad patches it's the way it goes. If you were to have Grealish in his place you would lose a lot of energy and closing down that Onomah brings which would allow the opposition to build attacks at their leisure. So whilst it might not necessarily be a bad thing it would change the shapes of games.
  4. Last season we would have buckled under the Leeds pressure in the first half. Stuck at it and got a good point. If we weren’t so thread bear up front a change in striker might have allowed us to nick it. Still unbeaten which is important.
  5. Thought he had a great game tonight. Got stuck into his man from the off and offered much more threat as the game went on. Fair play.
  6. Would settle for a draw now if offered.
  7. For all his limitations and ups and downs in performance over the years I love the way he plays. Throwback to times when football was a physical game.
  8. Worried about Davis as he looked tired midweek, but there aren’t any options so just have to keep fingers crossed.
  9. Happy with the win but ne needs to freshen it up on Sat. Looked very tired the last 20 mins.
  10. My mom today. He covered a hell of a lot of ground and his passing was creative as well as timely ensuring moves progressed at pace.
  11. I thought his first 20 mins were poor, 2nd to the challenge and didn’t win a ball. However, that said he got better and better as the game progressed and looked composed in the 2nd half. Fair play too him.
  12. Cracking game just need to follow it up with 2 home wins now.
  13. Was my MOM in Wednesday, he covered every inch of the pitch breaking up play and having the energy to get up and down the pitch for the full 90 mins.
  14. He's definitely a player that would benefit from working with a target man. However, that said if you are the only striker on the pitch you need to be alert and provide options when we are not in possession of the ball. Last night when we were defending he was away with the fairies and not providing any option for an out ball which resulted in a period of pressure that we had to defend against. He needs to up his game and can’t just wait for things to happen around him.
  15. Really good shift tonight, so much better than Jedinak with his passing.
  16. First trip away this season and picked a good one. Many good performances. I had a choice of two in the end. Hutton for making things happen going forward as well as his excellent defending and Hourihane for his tireless running and play making, it was immense. In the end Hourihane nudged it for me. Excellent night and hopefully many more to come.
  17. First away game of the season with my lad. Hoping to see another 0-3 away perfirmance with the Preston issues at CB and the fact they lost to Brentofrd at home over the weekend.
  18. Let’s have this. 0-2 Kodja and Snodgrass and 4th place to boot.
  19. He’s been brill considering he’s right footed.
  20. Whilst I understand the frustration with some of his passes he is light years ahead of Jedinak. Jedinak passes more to the opposition than his own players. So for me, if it’s a choice its Whelan every day of the week.
  21. If we can win tonight we’d be in a fantastic place. COYL
  22. Understand why he went with 3 at the back at the beginning, to try something new. Didn't work so fair play he saw this and made the change within 20 mins. We then came into the game and even after going behind, looked confident enough to keep going forward. it wasn't pretty but it was a million miles away from Cardiff.
