    Last season his best performances came after he was dropped and he had a point to prove. Maybe that will happen again after this latest episode when he gets his next chance. Now there’s a nice thought in addition to the extra firepower we have now.

    The start to this season reminds me of RDM. Individual mistakes costing us points, Ipswich and Reading. Decisions going against us Brentford and Reading. Does that me we’ll have a new mangers in 3 games time?

    Credit to Kodja, whelan was immense, Nyland make a couple of cracking saves to keep us in it. That was the best performance of the season for me by a mile so far. Get rid of Jedinak from defence and we might stand a chance.

    Everyone can make an impact in a game. Defenders are brought on to stop goals, midfielders are brought on to either create, hold, break up play, perform a man marking job etc. Forwards are brought on to try and create chances and score goals. All on these positions and roles have an impact on a game in a short space of time.

    In my opinion I think it is what a lot of the younger players need. Not sure I understand why you think it’s for strikers and no one else!

    I don’t understand why people are marking Bruce so low. If anyone had seen the line up before the game started many of us would have said its what we wanted. The fact that Yeovil put in one hell of a shift and the team didn’t quite gell as we wanted isn’t Bruce’s fault. At least he tried.

    I was going to write something like this, thanks for saving me the time. The only thing I would add is our lack of movement off the ball is severely limiting us. If we could add that to our game we’d come on leaps and bounds.

    Nice start, grew into the game and took control after about 20 mins. Will do him good and would like to see him brought on at the end of games to build his confidence.

    Having been at the match that was one of many awful passes to team mates, that I called in my day, break leg passes. His distribution was truly woeful.

    With all the crap that’s been going on for the last couple of weeks thought that was a cracking performance.

    Lovely delivery from a deadball, good engine and loved the aggression chasing the ball down and tackling their players. More of the please.

    Please play him at CB against Yeovil so Bruce can get some confidence in him so that he plays him in this role in the league. We can’t have Jedi play in that position again.

    I just don’t get it. The last time he played there he was a liability, every time he plays CD he’s a liability. What on earth am I missing that Bruce see’s. The only possible reason for playing him in this role is because he can head a ball. But my goodness his passing was shocking all game. The pace and strength of pass put team mates in trouble on a number of occasions and of course led to the goal. He was well off the pace in a number of areas today. Goodness knows what Elphick must think he’s done to get this lump play ahead of him. i just don’t get it!
