  1. So for all this blaming Bruce - there doesn't seem a whole lot of people (if Any) would start RHM v Ipswich on saturday and subsequent games. To me when he comes on as sub and makes an impact that when he gets a start. I wouldn't bank on there being a whole load of loan interest either.
  2. Agreed. He ticks all the boxes and rumours of him being our next manager are already starting to grow. I would be amazed when we are next recruiting no move for Rodgers is made - whether he would come is another matter.
  3. Probably ? - He has to be starting or not starting ? - your probably makes you think your not totally sure I wouldn't start him - and don't think Bruce will either.
  4. Same question for you BOF - Would you start him v Ipswich on Saturday ? (assuming no loan players come in)
  5. So you would start him against Ipswich on Saturday and the next few games ?
  6. This is high level competitive football - it isn't a game of 'shots in' - He might get a couple of precise passes into a danger position during a game - but most of the time he we have to beat the defender to some extent. If he can only do it where "Every pass is to his feet" - he isn't going to make it ...period.
  7. that assumes he would be wanted on loan.some club has to think he is worth paying the wages.
  8. You have to earn the chance though. Typically youngsters get by on adrenaline for few games - the real test comes after that- Ive not seen a sparkle from this lad TBH.
  9. Agreed - but that should reduce his impact - not snuff it out all together. I am sure he would look better in a good team performance - but whether that 'better' is good enough to be a regular starter is doubtful IMO.
  10. I think we learnt that there isn't an awful lot below first team level. Loans are vital for us.
  11. ^^^^^ This for me. I have never seen anything from him to suggest he is a gem in waiting. Sure he does it for the u23's, but the step up is massive - and tonight we are playing lowly opposition and he turns in a mostly anonymous performance. I would agree Bruce probably doesn't rate him - I don't see how he possibly can - TBF he is coming back from a run of Injuries, but other than a bit of raw enthusiasm I m not seeing much here.
  12. As has been said big time charlie who got by as a teenager on sheer athletic ability and andrelin - after that there wasn't much. I thought he would be shit - but even I didn't thibk he would be this shit. The guy is a joke of footballer - and no I have no sympathy whatsoever. His only slight redemption was that he took what Aston Villa, tim sherwood and tom fox were stupid enough to offer
  13. Jordan Vertout and Remi Garde to name but two !
  14. no but yielded more victories than thoze Representatives for Wellingborough houllier and garde........ ..........waits to be told these are progressive. ...
  15. Jedinak was injured, and Mcginn wasn't here for the first game. Elphick looked ropey in that first match, as did Albert. I don't think he did change to accommodate Wigan - he put out what he thought was his strongest team. "Progressive head coach to implement a villa system" - Just a load of words mate - we don't need any of that, we just need a guy who puts out the strongest 11 each week to win as many games as possible. Sure Bruce has his shortcomings - but with a squad of 25 and 3 subs per game you will nearly always have scope for disagreement.
  16. Yes - and the only other options are Elphick and Axel T - I don't see it as the stark raving mad decision that some are claiming.
  17. Read this yesterday. What a sad state of affairs for our greatest ever manager.

    Keinan Davis

Really ? Poor as Kjodia was yesterday - I think it is more likley that he finds some form and goals than either RHM or Davis tbh. He has previous for goals - RHM and Davis at first team level don't. Pretty sure we will bring a striker on loan in any case - I would then expect Kjodia, Davis & RHM to be fringe players ..in that order.
  19. Not sure (But pretty sure he was at the first game remember the MOTD Footage) - and not sure of the relevance....they have poured billions into man city - and they can't be doubted as owners.
  20. I know my memory isn't what it was - and I recall the disaster v Sheffield - but did Jedinak not then stand in at CB when Terry had broken his foot and not do too badly at all ?
  21. I don't get why buy a football club if you aren't going to turn up and watch them play. Don't get wrong they are still massively in credit for saving us from administration and enabling us to keep our best players - I am still a tad uneasy about absentee owners though
  22. Fantastic debut - he was everywhere in that 2nd half - that block he put in towards the end was sublime. (I am almost embarrassed how good he was - as I know we have some hibs fans on here !) For the old farts on here - he reminded me of Steve Mcmahon
