My reasoning I think he will be shit. And once again we are the laughing stock of the football world. I hope the good lord intervenes and it doesn't happen. If it does I wish him every ill known to man.
rocket polisher.
A disgrace to the history of our club and those responsible for his appointment should hang there heads in shame. We are Aston Villa with a proud history a famous old club - we shouldn't be appointing little rocket polishers like this into senior positions. Hope he <deleted> off pretty quickly
PLEASE DON'T CIRCUMVENT THE SWEAR FILTER - NV
Pretty sure we are down to a choice of two - so if you want Bruce out you are going to get Henry (personally I think its done and we are just finalising things)
Doubt if he will get\need a meeting now. It would seem our overlords are tying up the Henry deal - then Bruce will get a phone call.
I heard at the weekend despite Bruce saying he had a meeting planned for Tuesday - he didn't - he was just hopeful of meeting the new owners in the next few days.
Big Sam " grinded" Everton to a decent placing in the PL last season.
I wouldn't view a move for Henry as ambitious - he is out of work - and openly looking for management position. A move for Eddie Howe or Arsen Wenger would be ambitious - but not Henry (I would arge its a particularly stupid idea myself)
Lets not forger these two billionaires have invested a small amount by there scale of wealth. Every chance they get bored of it in 18 months , when they have to pay out Henry his 3 year contract @ x million a year -
It won't be a masterstroke. Some billionaires watching the world cup - decide to buy a football club - they want a manager from the world cup - and low and behold one becomes available. sure we might get lucky , but it doesn't bode well for future if that is the depth of thinking.
Really think you over analysing - a manager is appointed to win games - if he doesn't he gets the sack. What you seem to be saying If Henry fails we should get another manager to come in to carry on his work ????? - personally when Henry fails I would hope we appoint someone to come in and do things differently.
Can I be first to say - "He would be a good manager - we just need a defensive coach"
He wants the change the culture, and the ethos of the club and give us a real playing identity, lay foundations for the future with modern coaching methods - and any other cliche these managers who barley win a game talk about.
