Pay parity at which level though? International I can agree with but club level you need to bring in the fans the tv revenue and sponsorships. At present they are probably paid similar to League 2/Conference which I think is fair.

It's easier to do pre season and for a league where the opposition does not punish every mistake. Gerrard took over mid season when the team was struggling better to judge him this season.

I agree there is a massive difference with quality across the league but if they got more paying customers they could sign some of the players we are seeing in The Euros. Clubs like us should be able to get a few thousand fans to turn up but it would be easier for myself for instance to take my niece in the summer months. Competing with the men's season i am using my season ticket and watching games on TV the women's game is an afterthought. If they keep the same calendar then not sure how possible it is but having 2 games in a day at Villa Park might be an option I would go early for that for instance or stay later. It not self sufficient at the moment for our owners to invest in the top players they need to think outside the box to get us fans to invest time and money for the women's game to grow and get more competitive.

Yep if you watch it for what it is its great entertainment I have been really impressed. Come on loads in the past few years. If they moved the women's league to a summer sport I think it would do even better for attendances.

There comes a time when we have to put some faith in the youth coming through. We cannot keep spending money and blocking their path. That being said I think we will sign another couple of players and couple will leave.
