If the club took away season tickets from say the upper tier and had it on a first come first served basis like you have at the cinema you would get the atmosphere back. They can't and won't do this for health and safety reasons obviously and the police wanting to know who is in which seat but if legislation changed that's where you would have a rocking Holte End. Great in Defence, No idea going forward! I did not expect anything so not that fussed but one question although he is a great keeper has Joe Hart ever saved a penalty???? From memory Milner bagged against B-lose at Villa Park in a 1-0 win against him and i remember watching a ridiculous penalty shoot out for the under 21s when we lost something like 17-16 and i dont think he saved one then either! Spot on. Though I personally was raging over the Liverpool game as a Milan fan, that kind of drama is great in football. As for those saying they didn't deserve it. Think they may need to have a look at the '82 Final again Chelsea put the ball in the net more than Bayern. They deserved it. Not being funny mate but they did not, they both scored 1 a piece in 90 mintues and extra time! At least when we rode our luck against Bayern we did in 90 minutes!!! Travesty for football in my opinion reminded me so much of Villa in the FA Cup Final in 2000 we basically parked the bus like Chelsea and lost 1-0 yet they got an underserved equaliser and took it to pens. Mate i am 37 been going down the Villa since i can remember and had a Season Ticket since Learner took over and odd ones in the past. You can only throw your money away for so long before you think what am i doing!? Its not rocket science, sack the clown give us something to believe in and we will renew. I have said previously i would renew when we are safe that was after we beat Fulham 1-0 but since then i and the 7 other Season Ticket Holders i go with have had the life sucked out of us. There is nothing to support on the pitch its that bad! I know some of the players are not good enough but that comes from the Manager. I bet my Sunday league team would score a goal from a set piece in the Premier League!! Not saying we would earn a corner mind you!! but delivery from a set piece and attacking the ball is basic football and we dont have a manager as such! He has to go or Villa will not be out the bottom 3 all season would you really pay good money to watch that? No guarantee a new manager will do any better of course but we as fans would have more faith he might and get behind him thats for sure.

What banner? In the away end at Villa Park in 1993 the City fans unfurled a banner saying "Good Luck Villa, From the City of Manchester"

Watched it in Rococo it was the highlight of the season seeing those glory hunters so gutted!! I think it was mainly Villa fans cheering on City to spite them! All good fun and to be fair friendly banter.
