    That makes it worse. The two parties involved in that sponsorship can't even use the same logo. With one being potentially a new badge being used before it's even been announced For someone so worried about us building our brand, it's odd that you'd be ok with that

    Are you really suggesting the negativity around this "new" badge was at the same level as the reaction to the round one and the reaction to the Luke shirts? Seriously? Of course. I'm not expecting everyone to be happy. But for the vast vast majority of fans to be very unhappy is a bit different. Over 80% of fans wanted a change from the Lerner badge. Instead they've tweaked the Lerner badge, made it worse, and given it back to us Wow, you're right. it's amazing isn't it. Dunno why we didn't just scribble it onto a blank square and use that We're about to qualify for the biggest club competition on the planet, for the first time in our history (yeah yeah European cup, we all know the CL is bigger now) For the first time ever, we are going to be beamed into living rooms across the world on the biggest stage our club could possibly be on. People across the world could be seeing our club for the first time, or paying attention for the first time. And the main thing that identifies us, the symbol of our club, the thing that gives people their first and lasting impressions of us... will be a badge that looks like it was knocked up by a 12 year old on clip art To be honest I'm sick of people telling us that we shouldn't be bothered about this and that we should move on. This matters. Just because you don't care about it doesn't mean other shouldn't.

    On the plus side, that new Betano logo is much cleaner than the old one I saw. So the sponsor won't be much of an eyesore

    People aren't going to confuse it with the Chelsea badge. And if they do it would be extremely temporary. If it's really an issue then tweak it and make it better. Don't completely bin it and give us a dog shit 12 year old art project as a replacement

    For the sake of what? I'm not a negative person. in fact I'm an overwhelmingly optimistic poster when it comes to villa. The new badge is completely shit. it's far worse than the Lerner badge and the round badge. And the vast, VAST majority of fans appear to share this view.

    I disagree entirely. The round badge wasn't perfect, for the reasons you've mentioned. But it is so far and above an improvement on both the Lerner badge and the "new" badge, that the idea it "has to go" is nonsense. We're throwing the baby out with the bathwater. The entire thing is a farce

    I do kind of agree, but I also think you have to DO something to give you the right to do that. Anthony did **** all. He didn't even take a penalty. And he's giving it large It's not that he shouldn't do it, it's just really really cringe that he did

    Agree with this. Even at this point of the season, last week Liverpool and Arsenal were only 2 points behind Man City and people were saying they still had a chance at the title if they won every single remaining game. Needing to win 6 games in a row to make up a 2 point defecit is mad. But they're right. I remember in the 90s Alex Ferguson saying you could only lose 6 or 7 game a season if you want to win the league. Now I think it's more like 3 or 4

    Almost certainly. Even if Spurs then won 4 of their last 6 we'd only need 3 points from 3 games (including Brighton and Palace) to finish ahead of them. I think 70 points will be enough but would make it very tight. I think if we get to 72 then it's done, and if we beat Chelsea on the weekend we'd only need to win one of our last 3 to achieve that So yeah. Beat Chelsea and the fat lady will be warming her vocal chords

    It's quite funny the amount of stick and calls for other players to start that Watkins has had to endure (i know you're joking by the way) Even this season there have been calls for Duran to get a run in the team

    4 more points, plus GD, means Spurs would probably need 3 wins and 2 draws. From 6 games. I can’t see them getting that.

    He’s got the same number of goal involvements as KDB’s best ever season. Salah has only ever had one better season. Son and Fernandes have never had a season that good. He’s the player of the season.

    We were told his legs had gone by some when we signed him. 9 months into the season and he’s just gone 90-120-90 in consecutive games in a week. And been good to brilliant in all of them

There have been plenty of games where Tielemans has been crap in central midfield (though I do like him and think he’s very good) What we should be happy with is that we can be missing key players like Luiz and Kamara and still put in excellent displays like the last two league games

    Superb performance. What a player. Our best ever PL striker. Just a shame that performance didn’t get a goal

    Excellent result, especially considering we went a goal down. And an excellent performance. Considering it was largely the same team that went 120mins on Thursday it was amazing. We’ve given ourselves every chance for 4th now
