He is a bit small.. i guess that may be the only reason Bruce hasnt played him more. Davis is a big lad and can hold his own against men. We dont know how he performs against men in training.. I still would at least prefer to see him on the bench than 2 full backs however..

Credit to him.. hes been awesome for us. On and off the pitch. Having a guy like that walking you out.. must have done wonders for this dressing room. I am suprised how many games hes played so far... i thought we may rest him here and there.. i hope he doesnt break down with so many games in succession.. He is a fit 37 year old but hes 37.

Birmingham game was a bit of a slip up.. despite their form and quality (lack of..).. its a derby match and they are always up for it. Its a much harder game... its also a game that managers fear losing.. they dont want to lose a derby match.. so its a draw i think most managers would be okay with. I personally would have gone for it but it is what it is. Cant win them all. 1 loss in 12 against the leaders.. away from home. Not bad. 7 Clean sheets. Awesome. Jedinak Grealish Lansbury Kodjia Green etc missing for large parts of the season. Its not spectacular viewing.. but thats not important this season.. we just need to get up and if we get up with these sort of wins. I am very happy. I am enjoying not fearing us concede at every oppurtunity like we used to be. Bruce has made us hard to beat. Those who want him out even now... i am bewildered by the thought. Forget what i just mentioned above. What would the players who are currently winning and playing well and are in 5th position think if we got rid of him? They clearly like him and are playing for him.. that would ruin team spirit.. new manager could rub the players the wrong way.. its a huge huge risk. One we should not be taking whilst we are in this form. Enjoy it for now... After Sheffield which is a tough but winnable match we have the following matches. QPR - Away.. tough but winnable. They are playing well at the moment. Sunderland - Home. Should win. Ipswich Home - Bubble has burst. Should win. Leeds away - Tough game but they are struggling at the minute. Millwall Home - should win Derby - Away - tough game..probably draw. Including Sheffield i can see us getting 15 points or so. Wolves have Fulham Reading and Leeds coming up. Cardiff and Sheffield have a decent run next 5 matches. Bristol have Cardiff Sheff Wed Preston Hull Boro.

I still think Cardiff and Sheffield will drop out by the end of the season. Boro and Norwich could threaten still. Wolves imo will win it.. and then its a fight for the rest.

He was Ononamous I think hes a good player though.. I just dont think he has enough ability to be a number 10. Hes a box to box player imo. Although i dont think his defensive aspect is ready yet to be a starter. Bench for mine.

Im not overly impressed with him. Had one good game when he scored and got an assist (burton?) Other than that hes wasteful and loses the ball too often. Prefer Adomah out right and Green back to left when hes back or even Grealish if Green isnt fit.

I think hes trying too hard.. trying to be the one man army he was last year. JK.. chill man.... we have a team this year thats not dependent on you.. just do your job now. No need to carry us anymore.

They are human after all.. Slip up against QPR. Be interesting after the highs of being top.. getting turned over by QPR... how will they bounce back? A couple of injuries.. loss of form... alot of matches in a week.. lets see how they are placed after Christmas. I imagine they will still be up there.. but maybe not top.

exactly. You look at our very own Andre Green. His attitude off the field looks amazing. Shame not many others like him.. Better players have done less than he has already achieved in his young career.

Could do worse than bringing him in.. as said above.. he will have a full 100% fan base support and we will afford him time to settle. He also loves the club and will bring passion. Whether he has anything else going for him as a manager (tactical etc).. only time will tell. Issue will be the timing on when we can bring him in. Not too early.. I dont want our fan base to be singing Sacked in the morning to him......

Massive game. Lets see what this VIlla side is made of. I am still skeptical as we have won against easy sides (as we did last year).

Really needs a goal to get going. Had a few more chances this game then the last.... had a Kodjia situation where it was 2 on 1 and the player ignored him (luckily for him he scored via deflection)

Forget September. We didnt play anyone decent. Tonight......... tonight is the real test. Lets see what Steve Bruces Villa really is made of. Title contenders or pretenders. Im excited but im not expecting us to win at all. I think they will roll us.

Looked like he lacked match sharpness. Improved as the game went on.. involved heavily in second goal. Looked fitter than last season. He looked like he was really down on confidence.. tried hard and looked like it meant something to him.. which is something i suppose. Expect him to build fitness and start scoring in a few weeks.

He has become a starter..... what salary should/could he demand? 20-25k... match Grealish? realistically he should have been signed before he started for 10-15k.

A draw against Wolves wont be a bad result.. Bolton should be 3 points. We then have a few tough games in October.. and we have November with alot of very winnable fixtures again. But one at a time. Lets take care of Bolton.. I dont want us to have one eye on the Wolves match and get done by Bolton. They have to win sometime this season.. make sure its not us!

Hes not good enough. Probably one of the worst signings we have made in a very long time. Looks way out of his depth.

He had 1 bad season. He was good for the last 5-6. Surely he deserves another go. Especially considering the off field problems he had last season. He looked fitter and looked like he was trying hard. Give him a break and put him on the bench in place of Bikir. He is awful.

our under 18s dont look very good. Is this including those 2 new signings we made? Sea and that other fella?

We rushed him too early last time. Desperate Brucie. Rushed Kodjia too.

I dont like Bruce but i hope we win well. I think if we win tonight.. a few easier fixtures coming up. I expect 9 points from the next 3 games. Anything other than that is a failure imo.
