Bruce would love Benteke. his style of forward. Be perfect for our system. If Palace went down and we went up.. surely we would be in for him? Id bet he be busting to come too.

Whats this talk that some fan spoke to JK and he said hes back in 3 weeks? I assume he meant back to training not full fitness. So if that is the case.. how long will he need to make the bench. Play off time?

As said above. Doesnt matter who is playing who.. its about handling the pressure. We got to 2nd and we choked. Lets see how the other teams handle being in that 2nd position. So far Cardiff are not bottling it.. but it is starting to get really serious now. If we win ( i believe we play before them now... ) the pressure will be immense for their next match. Lets see.

Prefer Fulham finish second if we don't. I don't want to play them in the playoffs

I read April he could be back in training. Season ending in May.. not much time to get back to full fitness. Could make an appearance from the bench if we have play off matches? surely worth a go for 20 minutes.

Its amazing how everyone sees the game differently. Jack Grealish looks very easy on the eyes with the way he plays... so far with little end product and hes seen as our best player. (1 goal 2 assists i think it is). From a deeper position Hourihane has 9 goals and 3-4 assists. What more could you ask a guy that is sitting deep? He is making a real impact. How many games has he won us now with a goal or the assist to a winning goal? I could think of Norwich and Sheffield off the top of my head. Yes he doesnt do all the flashy things Jack does in general play.. but Hourihane is very effective . I dont care if hes quiet for 89 min but he scores a winner. Hes worth playing 90 min for that alone. His work rate is another reason he should always play. Both our good runs this season came when he was playing. Very important player in our side. I cant see how anyone can doubt this?

Draw would be fantastic for us. Villa win scenario if all stays the same until then points wise. Cardiff - Wolves = draw. We close gap to 2 and 8 respectively. (We play them both and can overtake Cardiff with a win and close gap to 5 with a win over Wolves (within 2 wins). Cardiff - win - Gap is still 4 with Cardiff.. and a win over Cardiff we are still 1 point away from them. Against Wolves we close gap to 7 and 4 if we beat Wolves. (still within 2 wins). Wolves - win - We close gap to 1 with Cardiff. A win over Cardiff we overtake by 2. Wolves still 10 ahead.. if we beat them we close to 7. (within 3 wins) So to summarise the obvious. A draw would be a fantastic result. Win win for us.

Problem is we tend to slip up more than Cardiff do. We will need to be near faultless just to catch them let alone go above.

He got starting team wrong today imo but we got lucky. 442 doesn't work well for us. Credit to him for the changes in second half.

Amazing. The passion he has for this club.. hes on loan too. You would think hes a villa fan. That's how I would be after every game. Unlike Gabby/Lescott and the rest of the so called fans who disrespected our club. Well played Snoddy!

how can anyone want him dropped? pops in with goals from defensive midfield. Works hard.. didn't have his best game.. but how many of our players would finish like that? Pure class.

What's frustrating is having Whelan or a left back on the bench. Very rarely we use them. Where as when we are chasing a game.. we don't have options on the bench. By the very least we should drop Whelan and Taylor and have RHM or O'Hare on the bench.

What's the harm? He can't do any worse than a few against Fulham or Preston. Personally I'd start RHM and O'Hare. We lack pace.

Agree. Onomah is only a year or so older than him and RHM. Rather we develop our kids. I think O'Hare has more potential anyway.

dont see why Grabban and Snoddy.. cant play wide with Hogan through the middle.

Doesn't say much at all. He offers nothing going forward. To me he is a box to box player like Delph.. without the bite in the tackle and doesn't work has hard off the ball. Not good enough in my opinion. He may improve at Tottenham but he doesn't want to be here from what I can see of him.

Bruce said Grealish and Adomah - he wouldn't bet on them being back. Adomahs brother on twitter said fingers crossed for the weekend. So I am guessing they will both be back for QPR.

exactly. I don't understand it. Lansbury scored goals in the championship playing off the striker for Forest. We only use him deep. We have used him incorrectly so often. Give him a run. Will offer more than Bikir and Onomah going forward. Or play RHM/Ohare

we created nothing today. How can we blame Scotty. He worked hard but nothing was happening around him. Geez we missed Adomah and Grealish. I bet he did too.
