I dont rate him. Id rather we gave Ohare a go. More potential imo.

He doesnt want to be here. Should be no where near this team. I would start Sulliman.. or even Richards over him. Luckily Mile will start with Chester.

We have lacked a bit of pace in the side. Good to see him back soon

His link up play is actually improved again like it was under Di Matteo. He was so creative under RDM. I remember he had created more chances than anyone in the league. He struggled all round for Melbourne despite his goals.. but his game is slowly coming with his fitness. I would like to see him back in the squad if we cant afford to buy any one else.

Its worth a shot. Snoddgrass and Adomah work hard to track back and Grealish finally showed something off the ball of late. Mile and Hourihane can do plenty of defensive work.. our defence can hold its own. When we have the ball.. we need to do more with it.. we cant afford to have 60% of the ball and do nothing with it. Hogan is a proper goal scorer. We just dont play to his strengths.. so why dont we? Kodjia is gone.. so we need to play around the next best striker we have. Davis would be a fantastic change off the bench to give defenders a different challenge late on. On paper.. you look at Wolves team and wonder why it works.. its so attacking.. who does all the defensive work? they work as a unit. Attack with flair. Thats what we need to do too. We have the players. We just dont use them correctly or to their strengths.

Hogan is back. Use him. Put Grealish Adomah and Snoddy around him. Players who can understand and spot his runs. Even O'hare. We need to be braver with team selections.

I think its time we showed a bit of belief in the lad and start him. I remember Vassell coming through.. Gregory (?) at the time said to him.. no pressure.. You will start each of the next 5 games.. go do what you can do. He went on a run. I think we need to do the same. Davis wont start every game and hes struggling at the minute. Start Hogan.. give him a few games from the start and surround him with intelligent footballers. Sick of us being mugged... we should be creating fear in other teams. Attack attack attack. They will slip up many more times. We just need to be taking our chances. Its not unlikely but it doesnt help that we arent winning our games often enough

Im not his biggest fan.. i believe he has potential.. but i think he has lost that confidence/drive he used to have attacking teams.. he seems a bit hesitant these days. I think Onomah has played too many games.. as with Davis and they cannot keep it going. Next match Grealish should get his chance to show us what he can do. Needs a run of games too.. not just in and out. Id start with Lansbury too.. think the goal will have done him the world of good. Rest Hourihane as hes played quite a bit too.

Take 4 attackers from Wolves starting side and their best defender. They be lucky to be in the top 6. This is what we have had to deal with. We just need to make the play offs. Top 2 is unrealistic.. as without 5 of our best players for long periods of time.. i just dont think we have enough to beat the top sides. If we can somehow make the play offs.. maybe a one or two loan signings in January.. we may make a push come play off time. Brucey i believe has been promoted 4 times all via play offs correct? Hes got a good record.

He was still quite solid despite the goal they scored. I thought Johnstone should have saved it.. i like my goalkeepers coming out for crosses.. if your sitting on your line you should be prepared to make a stop. Was almost directly at him. still 70% Sambas fault.. other than that he was good. As a back up he is much better than Elphick/Richards who we had to play last season.

Problem is.. would we have won today if we had JT Kodjia Jedinak Hogan Green available? I think so. We have lost crucial players for most the season yet we are still in a good position. Take out 4 of the best attackers from Wolves and their best CB.. i dont think they would be going on as good of a run as we are. We are extremely unlucky this season.. and Wolves the opposite. We wont go up automatically with the squad we have left. Not without Kodjia. Depends who we bring in January.. but i think we will do well to go up by the play offs.

Difference with Wolves.. they have had 3-4 shots on goal and scored goals.. 50% possession.. its not like they are destroying teams with chances or possession.. they are just lethal in front of goal. If its not Cavaleiro its Bonatini.. or Jota. They basically have 3 Adomahs in their side.

Wow. Bruce will win the championship and villa fans will still whinge that we didn't get enough goals or we didn't wear our third kit enough. I have seen every game this season. Most have been average in terms of entertainment. But he has added mental strength to this squad. Our defence is good. We have had injuries to key players all season and haven't been able to field our best 11 nor will we with kodjia for the season. Wolves have had the luxury of no injuries and keeping their best players fit. I read we've used over 30 players already. Yet with all the changes and the slow start we had we are fourth. But we can't win away..... 3-0 @ Barnsley.. 4 -0 @ Burton. But we can't come from bwhind.. 2-1 @ qpr. These issues we've had for years and years. Slowly slowly he is turning the ship around. Qpr and Preston were arguably the best we've played recently.. Norwich and a few other games we were quite entertaining.. but it's a long hard season with many games back to back... Sometimes you just need to grind a win and get the 3 points. Even wolves have played poorly and won.. we just dont see it.. yes they play better style.. but they've been lucky with injuries and keeping same team on the park and built combinations. I am not convinced Bruce is the man to take us Forward after promotion.. but I wouldn't want to change it now.. so why is there even a debate? Sack him now and bring in who? What does that do to the dressing room.. for the players who clearly like him and are playing for him. Personally when Terry and Kodjia got injured I thought our season was over. Somehow we have won 2 games since. May not be pretty but players are responding to him and it's going well so far.. just enjoy it and let's see where we are in January.

he didnt play though. Maybe it happened in training or something thats been bothering him a while. Either way.. hes not an option now. I hope RHM is close to fitness. RHM and Davis uptop. Why not. Could do worse. (Gabby and Samba!!)

Terry or no Terry. We are not good enough i am afraid. Every time we face a half decent side we seem to get beat or create nothing against a decent defence. 442 DOES NOT WORK. Yes it got a few results against some awful teams.. its clear we need 3 in midfield especially if Whelan or Jedinak are in the side. Hourihane is literally the only player in midfield at times with Whelan just sitting back. If we played Hourihane and Onomah in midfield we may have a bit more energy. We may sneak into the play offs come season end.. but i dont think we have enough. The loss of Terry wont help. Wolves have been lucky with barely any injuries.. we have lost so many players.. Grealish only just came back.. as with Kodjia and getting re injured. Now the loss of Terry etc etc. Not going to be our year. You need a good run of injuries to get promoted.

Injuries and suspensions will play a part in the promotion race. How teams will handle that will be interesting. I am quite confident in our squad in all positions (maybe except CB). If JT gets injured we are in trouble.. i would prefer Jedi than Samba there! but Wolves Cardiff etc.. if they lose 2-3 key players.. i think they will struggle. This will be an exciting season if we keep this up!

Snodgrass and Onomah.. have been inconsistent. Surely you cant say that about Conor. He is box to box.. how many times do you see him recovering the ball or making tackles.. screening the defence well.. it goes unnoticed how hard he works off the ball. Then he has 5 goals. No way you put a lazy Grealish in for him. Further forward.. sure.. but Hourihane is one of the first on the team sheet for mine. Just for his workrate and set pieces alone! Grealish will be in competition with Onomah for that advanced forward role. I think Onomah is more of a box to box player too.. dont really see him as an attacking player. Dont see the hype in him.. Personally think O'Hare will be better than both.
