I mean... Firstly. Carragher is a bellend. But if we were to finish 4th and win the conference league...that is easily our best season in nearly 30 years. And it's definitely better than that IMO. If it ends up being the peak, it's a **** high peak.

Do you think poor passes leading to goals has been the issue with our performances the last two months? I'm concerned it's legs and we're running out of steam. We have been whack.

Agree. Plenty of great crowds out there. Prices of matches and the general slog of the Premier League now being a race to finish somewhere outside relegation don't help to be honest.

99% of all crowds all the time Don't make me laugh. Have you ever been? Awful atmosphere. Really poor. Yeah sure, Champions League semi final it might be good. Most grounds are for the big games, including Villa Park.

Utd haven't won at a top 9 side since December 2021. Their last three away games, they pipped Wolves having thrown away a lead and lost at Forest and West Ham. If we play OK, we win. I'll be expecting a full on season collapse if we get battered. They have good players but no structure or plan at all.

Very strange performance. Looked like the Sheffield Utd match never happened. Very short on confidence. We've been pretty good in big games under Emery. Time to grow some nuts men.

Perhaps a lesson to not do it in general, yes, but it was hardly quick. He was here for two years before anything but glimpses of ability were shown. Great it's coming now. Long may it continue.

Agree. Ollie placed it well, but if that was Emi I'd actually think he'd be disappointed letting it in without even getting near it. He's so so good. The character he brings elevates him even further. Gives us a winning mentality and it's always nice to have to odd nutcase to scare teams off.

Definitely some sort of clause it sounds like. Which is fine for both parties I think. If we're paying him good money, I'd expect a clause around £75/80m? If he plays like this every week, £75m is a bargain for someone. I would pay £1,000 to watch Monchi and Butler negotiate.
