Gutting, deflating, annoying. Yes and more but…. Draw a line, move on and figure out how we win on Thursday. Still lots to play for.

Pretty brutal but the result wasn’t unexpected. I think the injuries have finally caught up with us. Important week ahead. Need to regroup and focus for Thursday.

Injuries have finally caught up with us. Players looked knackered after 35 minutes.

Was afraid of this performance and now down to ten. Could end up 3 or 4 goals by the end.

So many times we’ve been sloppy after HT. We need to make some changes and bring some energy back.

Winning the midfield battle is key. Hoping McGinn, Luiz and Tielemans can come out on top.

Have to say I am a little worried/nervous for this one. Could be defining and shape our run in. Hoping to see a similar Newcastle at home last season performance, rather than the Newcastle at home this season. Spurs will try and bully us early to get a foothold, so we need to stand up to them. Konsa, Lenglet and Pau all start for me, alongside Digne. That’s probably our strongest back four right now. Would also love Ramsey to start to keep Porro occupied but not sure he will. Get McGinn into Maddison early and try and control the midfield. Watkins and Bailey masterclass fingers crossed. Would love a Villa win but would happily take a point.

Haven’t seen the post match interview yet but hopefully later. Very disappointing evening, especially that first half display. Arsenal were clearly favourites and have the better side, but we should have been more competitive in that first half. The amount of standing off and lack of pressure on the opponent was shocking. We seemed very frustrated and deflated quite early. Daly especially cut an isolated figure and was showing her anger at players for not pressing or losing the ball. I do worry if she’ll think about moving on in the summer? Clearly we’re lacking numbers due to injuries etc but I do think Carla Ward has to take some responsibility here. Surely we can set ourselves up to frustrate the opponent better? Her options are limited for sure but I would want to see much more from the players. We’ve had some better results since January but nowhere near the same level of quality from last season. It going to very interesting to see what the club wants to do in the summer. We probably need five or six coming in and no doubt we’ll see a similar amount leaving or not having new contracts/extended etc. I do hope the club continue to back Carla or whoever because the woman’s team is important to our growth. It’s enjoyable alongside the men’s team. For now though, we’ll probably limp towards the end of the season with some decent results thrown in hopefully.

3-0 embarrassing. Just can’t defend correctly and basically standing off them. Game over.

As I said, it wouldn’t be welcome but it would provide a large return. Again, I hope we don’t have to sell a big ticket player.

Out of players listed above, Ramsey would be the one but I’m hoping it doesn’t happen. Actually surprised Konsa doesn’t get a mention? Bought for a relatively small fee but potentially large return if sold. Again, I wouldn’t welcome it though.

1-4 Liverpool. Really bad defending again.

........................Martinez......................... Cash……….Konsa……..Lenglet.......Digne ................Luiz............McGinn............... Diaby.............Tielemans..........Zaniolo ........................Watkins......................... Hopefully get a foothold in the game and start to rest key players early in the second half. Give decent minutes to KKH, Chambers, Iroegbunam, Rogers and possibly Duran.

Coming in as a free, we could get a decent return out of him for FFP purposes if we did consider selling him this summer. Market value must around 25-30m?

Could easily have scored four or five. Very good half. Score another and then start to rest a few. Hope Ramsey is ok.
