  1. He certainly didn't cover himself in glory last night, got caught out a couple of times.. Time he wasn't really attacking OR defending.. He reminded me a little bit of Bennett last year, uncertain. That said, I've raved about how good he was last year, and like others, think this is just a blip in form. He'll come good, maybe he's the type of player who likes playing with a settled team, we've made a few changes lately and swapped things around, I'm sure he'll be just as good soon as he was last year. I still think, with a good 4/6 months in front of him, he's an outside chance at getting an England cap.
  2. When he came on yesterday I was a bit baffled.. He seems to have decent control to be fair to the guy, but he's not very quick, looks a little bit clumsy with the ball at his feet and isn't positionally very good.. Which, unfortunately means... He's ineffective imo. He'd do alright in the championship I think, but you could get worse squad players.. I don't know really, it's a really weird one isn't it? I wonder what Lambert was hoping for when he signed him? I suppose the only good thing is, is that we'll probably make a profit on him, seeing as he's now played in the premiership and done okay. He did pretty well against Stoke last year to get an assist

    GTA 5

Not if they released it on next gen, like Battlefield 4 is doing, I.e. you've bought the game on ps3, if you get a ps4, we'll let you "upgrade" for a tenner. Because if there's going to be as much content in GTA:Online as what they're making out, this game could keep it's large community happy for a good 2/3 years, much like what Battlefield 3 has done for me. 500+ Missions online allegedly, with your "crews" online, it'll be fun. Rumoured to make new cities and everything. Imagine a Las Venturas in GTA:Online? It'd be killer!

    GTA 5

Not that they make much difference, but analysts are saying it WILL most likely be coming to the next-gen consoles. I imagine a direct port and a few system stabilizing fixes wouldn't be beyond R*'s powers. He also stated that GTA:Online could make R* millions of dollars a year, expanding that on next gen would only generate them more money as console users port over. Frankly, my ps3 is on its last legs. I have to turn it on, and insert/eject a game disc about 20-30 times before it starts working.. It can take up to half an hour to get a game STARTED. then you have to actually wait for all that sh*t to load.. It's not that fun and it's time consuming.. If they did port it to ps4, i'd be right on it. But then again, I'm only 1 guy

Like all psychopaths, he has his redeeming qualities, which makes you want to love him more. I'm gutted to say I've finished the story now. Time to play

    GTA 5

Picked up 2 randoms who were as high as a kite with Trevor. Halfway to driving them to a motel they just start shagging in the back. every "hump" affects you're driving It's the little things.
  11. Milan Celtic is so poor. Noone can string two passes together, there's no rhythm, everyones stood still & 40 yards away from each other..

    GTA 5

I've had 3 of those! mostly down to my ps3 though.. I've had to insert/eject my discs for 10-40 minutes from a cold console for about 12 months now.. Still doesn't stop me though!

    GTA 5

The best WOW moment for me was driving to Los Santos from Sandy Shores with Trevor and Ron.. They've done an incredible job with the map and draw distances etc. For this software, they've pulled out all the stops.

    GTA 5

I love it. It feels carefree again. My first wow moment was flying with Trevor I like how colourful everything is, and the hollywood explosions.
  16. I hope that's camera flash.. It looks rock hard!
  17. my fave was Frank Skinners. I love the way he writes, he comes from around my local area so I can really relate to the places/experiences he's seen. And I think he has a really funny writing style.

    GTA 5

To be fair, you could say that about any game. if you were expecting a racing sim, fps, rpg game, then you're going to be disappointed aren't you? If you like free roaming with missions, customisation and a decent narrative, then you're probably going to like GTA. I don't think it's Rockstars job to change individual peoples opinions, when it's arguably one of the most successful franchises ever made. I'd be gutted if I bought Fifa and wanted a cricket game... The argument against it, for a game critique, is a very poor one Pete. What you should have expected is an open world game, some humour and an awful lot of throw backs to crime movies, which is, essentially, what GTAs are all about.
  19. Am I the only thinking that Yillan deserves a bit of a punch in the chops? I'm absolutely not an advocate of violence, but you know she's with someone else! It's completely disrespectful to him (however terrible he may be). If he doesn't know about it the I feel for him, frankly. It sounds to me like you like her, fair enough, but you're not exactly showing much class in doing everything this girl wants you to do, when she wants you to do it, knowing she has a fella. Poor form in my opinion. For shame.

I called Tesco up after seeing mine hadn't been dispatched and only having standard delivery; They called me up this morning saying for GTA5 pre-orders they're actually sending it out first class because of demand. So if your copy hasn't come yet, I wouldn't get too disheartened. I just think R* are being unusually careful about making it the 17th. happy days

    GTA 5

My Tesco pre-order is still classed as 'ready to dispatch' - their policy is also standard delivery which is 2-3 working days so I've requested click and collect. Doubt it'll be there if they post it on Monday 11 months on pre-order as well

    GTA 5

Probably right Chind, it'll probably be here in 6 months. And to be honest, the sooner it comes to PC, the sooner it'll get ported to the PS4/XboxOne, so I look forward to upgrading my ps3 copy to a ps4 copy after christmas. Then we can all properly enjoy the multiplayer
  23. The thing is; Brummies don't make up words, yam yams do. if you hear Wor, Cor, Shor, Woe, Ay it, Arr, you're listening to a yam yam. Brummies have an upward inflection on the end of sentences and the first sound of a sentence sounds the same tone/pitch as the last syllable in the sentence - which is why I always get called an Australian when abroad, or in Portsmouth Brummies are also a little bit monotonous.
