    Both my left midfielders are out at the moment. Grealish broke his foot pre-season and is out for 5 months. Gaya, 2 months later is now out for 6 months with a serious viral infection. GTFO.

    Well the buy back clause is with Barca, not the players contract. So I assume the buy back clause would be for the duration that he is a Villa player, but he could always refuse personal terms. The clause just means we have to accept the offer and he is allowed to talk to them.

    If we sign him and he gets us points resulting in a high table finish then he'll have done his job and when Barca buy him back we'll be in a position to get players in anyway.

    Coming to the end of the first season and Gueye is off to Southampton once the window opens for 18m (they sold Wanyama in January to Utd for £25m). And Ayew is on the transfer list as he's disrupted the team by moaning about a new contract. I told him no and stuck him on the list. Stuck him in the reserves too. No one messes with my authoritah!
