  1. Surely how he deals with pressure comes into play when you buy him. Forwards are judged on goals and he'll need to deliver them. Whether its dealing with pressure on day 1 or following a 5-6 game streak without a goal we have to be confident he can deal with that. None of us can control the pressure and expectation he will face therefore its essential he can deal with it
  2. My son got one, hes a junior member, not season ticket holder
  3. You'll get no judgments from me trent, I'm here for the debate, be so boring if we all thought the same. Some of the challenge comes because we havent made moves yet. If we had signed rashica on benrahma then I agree, this is a move for an out and out striker. Without those players though, I dont know whether to interpret this as a move for a striker or a move for someone who could play across a front 3 and complement someone like wes.
  4. Other than tammy (which is very tentative) I think all of the players were linked with unfortunately come with question Marks. I think that's unavoidable if you're paying c20-30m for strikers/wingers. If you want to guarantee a bit more, you've got to pay more (and even then people will quote some flops)
  5. My thoughts as well, you cant judge a player on one game and if we do sign him, its Dean's job to get the best out of him. From what I've seen he could start through the middle of deployed wide supporting wesley when hes back. One of the main benefits is that he can play a range of systems and will complement other players.
  6. The survey had gone out to all fans, I assume it will be a mix but none of us really know yet. My guess is Club launches a new scheme that anyone can register for paying a premium to do so. The scheme allows 40k members and guarantees x tickets for every member. Season tickets holders are given the opportunity to enter first of all which dictates how many non season ticket holders can enter. You apply in a ballot for your ticket with the opportunity to ask for 1, 2, 3, 4 tickets. If successful you allocate seats to those that you are linked with in the ticket portal. A 'general sale' window exists after each allocation for any unallocated seats, open to those with a ticket history. Absolutely no basis for any truth in this just bored and guessing, what else have we got to do, not like were singing anyone.
  7. I just hadnt seen this as difficult, season tickets and specified seats wont exist so everyone applies. You enter the ballot for tickets and enter as a group 2,3,4 people. These are people you link your fan Id to (this already exists, on the web portal you can list the relationship). The club allocates x amount of 2 seats, x amount of 3 seats, etc.
  8. Cant you let people be responsible for that, my membership is linked to my sons and those I book tickets with, seems easy to me within existing infrastructure. If not its surely impossible for the club to sell a ticket to a junior
  9. I'm not a fan of those 3, I can understand the argument for amusing banter that you made but when I think of the 3, I dont in any way start to think of the great analysis they are driving. In your post you appeared to criticise Morrison and Richard's for poor analysis but praise Le Tiss et al for great banter. That's not a fair comparison. What is the show trying to achieve? Of the 5 you mentioned, i wouldn't associate any with industry level analysis, all 5 however bring a great degree of entertainment I also believe the format of the show is stale.
  10. Very hard to measure the popularity of a PM as it will vastly change through the course of their leadership. Has Boris had the most difficult set of challenges for any modern day PM?
  11. You're comparing different things though, the three white guys have banter that makes the show but the black guys are criticised for poor analysis?
  12. I was thinking the opposite, the club will want to prioritise linked groups from the same household. Those people could likely sit together as they form a bubble but separated from other groups. If ever person is treated as an individual you will need more empty seats to seperate them. It's certainly part of the survey and I'd assume most people would say they want to attend with others from the same household/social bubble.
  13. Surely it's an opening bid? What is realistic, I'd imagine forests asking price is unrealistic so we need to meet in the middle.
  14. Agree with above, we should not be selling, a great player, links superbly with grealish and will improve further.
  15. Similar to others I'm about 500 quid a month better off. Typically work 8 til 6 but no commute, I see my kids at breakfast time and throughout the day. No intention of going back. I'm doing the odd day in a conference suite of a hotel to catch up with different teams but to be honest I wouldnt change a thing.

  17. Had a qashqai for 3 years, never had a problem with it. BMW 3 series estate now which I love. I'd also love something bigger for family reasons, cant see myself in a people carrier though and I'm barely doing any miles
  18. It's not clear to me if the CEO is making the stipulations or relaying them? Its interesting, I hadnt ever interpreted this as a problem, I just sort of assumed it happened at all modern clubs really.
  19. Did a couple of years at brentford first
  20. I'm not saying its Dean's first choice, just that a clear and apparent strategy is being executed, for him to stay and sign a new contract suggests to me that he understands the guidelines hes operating under and is supportive (as long as we get a couple from brentford).
  21. Or a summer of heston, luis, mings and konsa
  22. I dont read that as purslow buying players, just that they have a strategy. I'd assume dean is bought into that strategy as well as purslow brought him in and extended his contract.
  23. Very easy to say when it's not your millions. You cant over pay else it will become every clubs expectation.
  24. Probably not the example to use in any discussion but Stan Collymore also had several run ins with southgate. I think it's quite feasible that southgate just doesn't like Jack, he may not like his attitude, the way he conducts himself and that is why he wont pick him. Happens all the time at a club level, difference there players just get moved onto another club.
  25. Cant see it being true, these swap deals are so difficult to complete and it just feels like bollocks. The Birmingham mail have posted a jack to United article every day for last year.
