  1. Spineless support, i'd be ashamed of that. Good job the players don't jack it in on 65 mins no matter how bad they playedThe players jacked it in (mentally) on about 20 minutes. No they didn't...they got beat by the better team on the day.

  3. U can't blame them for taking the piss. We would have been doing the same in their position. Sometimes u have to roll over & take it up the ass :-)
  4. I don't think he looked any worse than the rest of them today
  5. He's not good enough anywhere. Played great for 10 mins, got ahead looked comfortable, and made them come out & play, which would normally give us a better chance of getting a second....only they came out and played too well!! :-) Once they were 3-1 up they just put everyone behind the ball, I think most teams would have struggled to score against that. We plotted our own downfall today! As for comments about us not being premiership standard....we certainly looked like it last week! 18 months into building a young, inexperienced side, we're on the right track.
  6. If only we had that kind of player today... Benteke
  7. Doesn't matter what a player is worth, it matters how much the selling club wants. And because of Bacuna's versatility, I would say he is worth it. Even so, 8 million?....he done well this season but come on.
  8. Am I seeing this right, 8million upwards for bacuna??!!! He's not worth anything near that
  9. I do like albrighton and he's a villa fan to which is always a plus, but I think he is just too limited a player. Yes he offers a lot going forward with his speed & ability to cross the ball but he's not strong enough to play one of the wide, front three roles. Likewise in midfield, he's not strong enough to play one of the middle 3. He can't play as a wing back because he can't defend, so unless we play four in midfield with 2 world beaters in the middle, he ain't gonna get a game
  10. I would I really like him. That said he is no miracle worker and if his hands are tied financially then we can't expect him to compete. I have said it before, but the only way to judge a manager is by how well he does compared to the money at his disposal. And in that context PL is doing just fine. I don't think his hands are 'tied financially'. He is building a squad, buying more potential than we have done in the past. This takes time, and that means periods of poor results due to players gaining experience. Unless u are competing for the very best players, throwing money at it just doesn't work...never has. He's doing a steady job
  11. I'm only being silly! Wouldn't bother me to be honest. I think the bigger issue is the people from birmingham thinking we're not the second city! We should be more proud of our city rather than running it down.
  12. Yes and Yes. Manchester get Media City, Commonwealth games. Birmingham get Pebble Mill closure, a non backed Olympic bid, and not even the UK capital of culture which went to Londonderry/Derry. Birmingham is nearly twice the size of Manchester. The greater urban areas are similar though. Should be called Greater Birmingham like Greater Manchester. West Midlands is too vague. They are actually considering this, was on the radio yesterday. All the douche bags in the Black Country etc. would kick up a right fuss. This is a massive reason why Brum suffers so much, the attitude of the people local to it. There was a big discussion on the people of Sutton Coldfield the other day, not wanting to be part of the city. Too right....I ay no brummy :-)
  13. Sorry Rimmy, I reported a few weeks back that I bought a pack of 4 'tree ripened' apples from M&S. I used to be In the meat trade, 21 day matured steak is steak that u haven't sold quick enough. Although it is tastier, it's just another bullshit story to get u to spend
  14. Yes. When tropical fruit are picked they ain't ripe, but are loaded into refrigerated containers and shipped to the UK, then they ripen on the shelves. So the 'vine ripened' ones have to be shipped over a lot quicker then otherwise they would go off sooner?...or are they flown over?...perhaps that's why they're dearer. Grapes ain't tropical neither. Load of bullshot
  15. Asda are now selling 'vine ripened' grapes.....what next, 'tree grown' apples! Where else would they ripen?...can they be picked and then ripened under artificial conditions? Or ripened in the bowl when u get em home? Pan fried onions?!!!...have u ever fried onions anywhere other than a pan?
  16. Yes, he wouldn't have done any worse than J Bowz. He would. He's got the ability but not the hunger. Thing is, this guy has loads of chances to shine but he never has. If he can't do it at blackpool in the championship then he ain't gonna do it here. Another Luke/Stefan moore I'm afraid. Luke Moore was streets ahead of gabby in terms of natural ability...where are they now??
  17. Well done, excellent time. Just did 3 mile canal run in 22:36, would love to get down to around 20. Never done a 5k race, usually do 10k, 10 mile or h/marathon. Was that canon hill?
  18. well I ain't 16-18 so that still includes me I think the standard gauge of how old u are is how long u can listen to radio 1 for before muttering 'what a load of shite' & turning it off. I last about 30 seconds as a rule and I'm 40. Nick 'grimmy' grimshaw!!!...god give me strength
