  1. New Polyphia is awesome.
  2. Would LOVE to shithouse a 0-0 here.
  3. Strange season really. A terrible run of form at the end of Smith's tenure derailed us, as did a big blip under Gerrard too. It was always going to be a season of transition, seeing as we lost Grealish and therefore lost the focal point of how we play. Next season will be very interesting. If we sign the calibre of player that Gerrard is after (which may become more realistic with Coutinho signing permanently), then maybe we might actually start seeing some real progress instead of rebuild after rebuild.
  4. The only thing more humiliating than that is being on Eurovision.
  5. The Rasmus' career obviously didn't pan out as they'd hoped...
  6. Like a lot of people, gonna spinning the new Kendrick album for a while. Mixed bag so far but it's definitely one that's gonna take a few listens.
  7. Anything involving Daniel Day Lewis is in for a shout.
  8. That **** Qatar advert that keeps popping up on YouTube. Song gets stuck in my head all bastard day.
  9. It's almost as bad as the Puddle of Mudd - About a Girl debacle from last year, but I don't think that anything will top that.
  10. In case anyone hasn't heard this gem. Hilariously bad.
  11. One for the prog/metal/alternative fans - Tim Feerick, bass player for Dance Gavin Dance, has died. Shame Have tickets to see them in September too.
  12. GSP mostly fought at Welterweight, and also beat Bisping for the Middleweight title, so he fought in a higher weight class than Khabib. However, there were rumours fairly recently that the 2 were going to come out of retirement to fight each other, but that was pretty much squashed. I'd imagine Khabib would have fought up in weight since he's definitely not walking around as a LW nowadays. It would have been fascinating to see, though GSP is 40 now while Khabib is still technically in his athletic prime as far as fighters go (although Glover Texeira just won the Light Heavyweight title at 40 so who knows!) Paddy is an interesting one. He definitely has that star quality, and he's an exciting fighter to watch for sure, but he was nearly taken out in his first 2 fights in the UFC. That being said he did recover well and turn them around. It's early days, and if he learns to protect his chin a bit better (better guys would have finished him), then I think that he'll be a problem for a lot of guys in that division.
  13. He did a lot in terms of increasing the overall popularity of the promotion (and I suppose MMA in general) - but he did most of his good work at Featherweight fighting smaller guys. As soon as he stepped up to Lightweight and closer to his natural weight, he's fought 4 times in that division, W1 L3. He did beat a declining Cowboy Cerrone at WW amongst that run. Nowadays, I think that anyone in the Lightweight top 10 beats him, bar one or two. He's spent most of his time the past few years dicking about while the rest of the top guys in his division have overtaken him. Like Phil said above, if he moves up to Welterweight to fight Usman for the belt, Usman will obliterate him. In my opinion, if we're talking about who is the GOAT, it's gotta be GSP for me.
  14. She inflicted Wicked Wisdom on us.
  15. I was never a Foo Fighters fan, but this one has proper shocked me. Seemed like a nice guy and was obviously a great drummer. Very sad.
  16. Molly and Paddy are good fighters, don't get me wrong (though that's twice in a row that Paddy has gotten himself rocked, he'll need to bring his chin in a bit against the better guys) - it's all the "THIS IS FOR LIVERPOOOOOL" stuff that does my nut in. You're from Liverpool, we get it, chill out...
  17. Scouse fighters are so cringy it's unreal...
  18. Tested negative, at last. Overall I rate my covid experience 3/10 WNB.
