Liked the subs but should have gone further and taken bailey and buendia off as well. Probably didnt due to the weak bench options.

Should probably be 2 down- Bailey, Buendia, Cash all not playing well. I have faith it can be turned round.

I understand why he took the job (self confidence/ fear he'd never get another prem job), but it was really ill advised. He needed a break and they were always getting relegated. After that he's never had the fans on side- he should walk before being pushed.

What a great moment that was when he beat the three/four players. One of the few times since Jack left that I can remember that level of skill being shown on the pitch.

I just can't understand why he wants to play this formation. I guess he knows (or someone at the club knows) it's messed up and that's why they tried to sign Sarr. Surely you wouldn't sign him for this nonsense. I also blame the Ings signing for a lot of this, first Deano now Gerrard trying to shoehorn in 2 strikers. We need a main striker and back up not two starters.

Going to give him the benefit of the doubt that he's emotional and just repeatedly been punched in the head. Not sure I'd be that lucid in those circumstances.

Happy with this- the key position in as early as possible. With him and Coutinho you can see the squad is already upgraded no matter what else happens.

Expected us to be battered. At least we added some drama to the final day. Central midfield clearly needs changes, and we wont do better until thats done.

His performance yesterday just underlines how important a DM is and that it's the most important signing we'll make this summer. Nakamba is a useful squad player but isn't a top ten premier League starter
