I appreciate we've won the last 3 with ings and Watkins linking, but this current formation means we drop buendia (or coutinho which won't happen). For me he's been one of our better players recently and I'd like to see the 433 or a 4321 tried again with Cash/Digne not as far forward as they were on the bad run. I admit though I am not a fan of Ings and the Ings/Watkins partnership. So probably not on the same page as most. Doesn't everyone think though if we can get buendia/coutinho working it's more exciting than ings/Watkins?

It sucks right now but let's hope we can get a win soon and then this will be put to bed. I think 35 will be enough. The worst form teams seem to be those around 11-16 based on their last 5 matches- that time of year the relegation places push on before 1/2 give up.

He has been poor for a little while now. This balance in midfield doesn't suit him.

Odd transfer that, he's clearly not good enough for Barcelona. Someone in their transfer team has been watching a lot of YouTube highlight videos with banging dance music tracks.

Guardian have him down as Villas player who needs a Jan move. References his game this week and the fact he hasn't been in the first team. He may well need a move but the writer of the article seems oblivious to the fact he has had a major injury....

Enjoyed the second half, liked the subs. Shame Carney didn't score that chance. The performance gave me confidence we'll be well clear of a relegation battle soon. City played some great stuff- awesome technical skill from their players- as you'd expect with their cost and coach

I would drop ings and play Watkins central if bailey is fit, otherwise Watkins left ings centre. Think I'm in the minority of prioritising Watkins over ings though.

Some nice touches, some bad but mostly not on the same wavelength as his team mates yet.

I was a big Smith fan but I didnt like the marquee signing of ings and not a midfielder, the 532, whatever is happening with Sanson, his refusal to sub McGinn and playing Buendia out of position. Today I just cant agree with his subs and his throwing on forwards. We were on top- switch an AM for an AM. I suspect he'll be gone.

I honestly dont understand the subs- playing people out of position and throwing on forwards as subs are the signs of desperation. I suspect he'll be gone if they have anyone lined up.

I'm Smith in but for Christ sake man drop this 3 at the back. We had one of the best defences in the league with 4 and targett as a wing back isn't getting you anywhere. Everyone can see Watkins and Ings isn't working.

I feel like Ings was a panic buy and we should have gone for a younger back up to Watkins. I would drop him and play 433. Ings is a good player but not good enough to change formation for.

Newcastle deserves better owners than Ashley but I wouldn't want Saudi Arabia owning my club. I've worked in the Middle East and Saudi Arabia is not like Dubai or Abu Dhabi. They may be peddling this lie that they are opening up and changing but I won't be going there again in my life that's for sure. I feel the Geordies are so beaten down that they don't care who takes over at this point.

10-12 is about as high as I see us going. Lower if these injuries and players missing due to internationals continues.

This is where we need a good number 2 like Heaton. Someone who could come in, do well and take their chance and the shirt. Martinez knows he can go and get the starting place right back. I bet he wouldn't be going if Heaton was still here and fully fit. Buendia also- I mean we started a 17 year old today, they know they can do what they want.

Will need the full house to pull the team through this one. We've started the season with so many injuries- cant really remember having 3/4 first team out at once last year.

I ordered mine and 2 kids first day they were available. All arrived- kids few days after adults (maybe a week or so)
