That's probably a sensible, if craven, decision on her part. Andrew Neil would have alternately clowned and monstered her while Portillo sat there grinning again. A real shame, I saw the ambush last time and was howling with laughter at her discomfiture and was looking forward to watching her getting annihilated again.

And it's back on form. I'm on record here as saying I was most disappointed with series 4 and series 5 would have to get its shit together for me to watch the whole series. I'm happy to report it has. I watch SE05 EP02 last night and laughed out loud on a number of occasions, something that series 4 failed to elicit. Also, I don't know if I'm seeing things that aren't there but I'd almost swear Cokey Smurf has flashed bits of her bits in each episode.

I thought it was a good episode and gave me hope for this series. I've previously indicated I thought most of the last series wasn't much cop and this series needed to impress early to keep me viewing. I liked it from the first scene and think it shows all the signs of returning to its past quality level. It took me a few minutes to work out what they'd done in terms of rolling the time setting forward, which was a smart thing to do. It gave them a chance to reboot the whole series rather than being constricted to follow the previous storylines at the end of the last series. Let's face it, there was no mileage there. Most of the non-regulars in the last series were unengaging and unamusing and having them back again would have been stupid. It also took me a while to work out that Mangina Man had returned. I recognised the voice but couldn't place him at first. I want to see him do his dance again! (No homo). I'll certainly give it at least another couple of episodes and I hope the standard is maintained or raised.

There are plenty of crocs in the Zambezi but not there. As you say, it's a big **** river. I was there a few months ago and saw some folks doing that but had no intention of doing it myself. Reason? I'm fairly sure the head shed of QIA won't be flying in Emirates Business Class via Dubai (there is no 1st Class available on that route). decent? he was brilliant and not very often i call a player that. I'm between your opinions. He wasn't what I'd call brilliant but he was certainly better than decent. He played very well and I'm glad to see it - it's not like he didn't owe the club and fans that performance. He owes us a lot more of them and if/when he does it consistently I'll be happy because we will win a lot more games and even those we don't win will be much more entertaining.
