I would guess in most EU countries it takes a few weeks to get your international passport. So I'm sure those drivers will be there in about a month.

How can you be sure? Apparantly it was Wesley who asked to leave on loan to get games, so the club was happy to keep him (as a sub). If he has a good season in Belgium, there's no reason for Smith to think worse of him than today. He can still leave, but £4m if he has a good season? no way, he'll be at least £10-15m. I don't think age will be a problem for Trump or his supporters (though he'll be older than Biden was last election if I'm not mistaken). What worries me is if Trump would die in the next 5 years (regardless of elections) of old age, heart failure or whatever cause there might be for an older man, his supporters will see this as a conspiracy. People over a certain age shouldn't be participating in politics anymore. How old are Pelosi, Grassley, Feinstein,...? At a certain age, you should move to the background and use your experience to help the next generation.

Also can't help noting you ignore the fact that most promoted teams struggle.

Same could be said about Norwich, who even have more experience in the PL. I'm not saying Brentford can't do well and perform like sheffield or wolves in their first season, but more often newly promoted teams struggle. Especially those coming up through the play-off final. Our own club as an example: on paper we had a good team with mings, mcginn, heaton and one of the greatest talents in England with Grealish. A good manager, strong support, wealthy owners,... everything to succeed and we still struggled because the step-up to the PL is massive. For every Sheffield (1 lucky season was followed by a horrible one) or Wolves, you have twice as many Fulhams, Norwichs, WBAs or even to a lesser extent Newcastle or Brighton (lower mid-table at best). So yes any team has the potential with a bit of luck, but to state this as a certainty is farfetched. I hope for Brentford to avoid relegation, but expect a difficult season. I do think he is a villa supporter (but as a player he might think he needs to move to win trophies), so imagine being a villa supporter and being booed by the Holte End.
